Целью данного урока является развитие навыков аудирования, чтения и монологической речи, логического мышления: обучение детей самостоятельно анализировать, классифицировать и делать выводы, совершенствование навыков чтения, произношения, говорения, привитие интереса к чтению книг, формирование терпимого отношения и уважения к мнениям другого человека.

Конспект урока по английскому языку в 8-м классе по теме "Средства массовой информации. Роль радио в нашей жизни" (УМК Биболетовой М.З. “Enjoy English”)
Цели урока:
Образовательная - развивать навыки аудирования, чтения и монологической речи.
Развивающая - развивать логическое мышление: учить детей самостоятельно анализировать, классифицировать и делать выводы.
Воспитательная - прививать интерес к чтению книг, формировать терпимое отношение и уважение к мнениям другого человека.
Оформление доски: дата, эпиграф к уроку “A man having information possesses the world”(N. Rothschild)- («Если владеешь информацией, ты владеешь миром», Н.Ротшильд)
Оснащение: магнитофон, проэктор, флэшкарты на тему «Радио» карточки с речевыми опорами.
Ход урока
1.Приветствие и организационный момент:
Т: Good morning, children! I'm glad to see you again. How are you?
Т: Let’s start our lesson.

T: First let's review the words on our topic "Mass Media". Look at the blackboard (slide 1). Let’s read and pronounce the words correctly:

T.: let’s devide the class into 4 groups- 4 radio stations. Each group (“radio station) will be given a card with the expressions.
The task is 1) to think of a name for your radio station
2) to make a presentation of your radio station using the given phrases.
3) to make up a list of programmes that can be heard on the radio station

T. : Your homework is to learn the song by heart and to give a literary translation of it. In exercise 3 p. 36 in your workbook you should match radio and TV programmes.
