Good morning, everybody! Sit down, please. Get ready for the lesson. How are you today? I’m glad to see you in good mood.
Today we’ll continue speaking about sports. What kinds of sport do you know? Good of you! Please, look at the pictures on the board. Can you guess what had these people done by 7 o’clock yesterday? Fill in the gaps using Past Perfect.Right you are! And what had you done by 7 o’clock yesterday?
Please, look at the picture. Now we are going to listen to the text about this girl. Her name is Suzanne and she is fond of sport.
There are some new words for you.
Listen to the text carefully and answer the following questions:
Which sport is Suzanne talking about? How often does she do it? Where does she do it? What equipment does she need? Why does she like it? Is she good at…?
Let’s listen to the text once again. Now you are to read the statements and decide if they are true or false.
Work in pairs. Ask your partner: What sports does he/she do? Where..? How often…? Is he/she good at…?
Now, please, tell the class about your favorite sport. Use the following plan.
Please, take down what I want you to do for homework. Your task is to read the text at page 199 ex. 9a and to do ex. 9c.
You have been very active today. S1, S2, keep working! S3, your work is much better, but there is much room for improvement. Thank you for working hard.
So, boys and girls, was the lesson interesting for you? I hope it was. What new information did you learn?
