Разминка:повторение команд. Игра в командира. Детивкругу, одинизнихводитиприказывает: jump, go, run, sit down, stand up, dance, stop, look, listen, read, write.
Revise red, blue, yellow, and green from Unit 4 using the flashcards of bag, pen, pencil, rubber. I put the flashcards on the board and ask what colour the bag is (It’s red). I do the same for the other items to revise blue, yellow and green.
Now I put up the flashcards of dog, octopus and rabbit and ask what colour the octopus is (It’s pink). Do the same for the dog (It’s black) and the rabbit (It’s white). If the children cannot remember the colours which were introduced in Lesson1, I tell them to look at the story on pages 34-35 again and find the words. If necessary, I give them clues, say Look at the parrot/pirates. It is …/They are…
Point to items around the classroom and ask the children to name the colours to reinforce the meaning of the new words.
Do not remove the flashcards.

Ask the children to open their books at page 37. Point to the different fish and say the colours aloud with the children.
When the children can say all the colours confidently, encourage them to say full sentences (for example, It’s a pink fish) about the pictures. Say Close your books, please.
Now add the flashcards of elephant, fish, goat and insect to the others on the board. Point to each flashcard in turn and ask What is it? (It’s a grey elephant).
I tell the children to repeat the colours.

I ask the children to open their books at page 37. I tell the children to find the stickers for this activity. Ask Whatis it?About each sticker to check the children remember the colours and can describe each parrot.
Explain that they are going to listen to Alice talking about the different parrots. The children are going to listen and decide which sticker she is talking about, and put the sticker in the correct circle.
I play the CD but stop the CD after I. Ask the children which sticker they have put in the first circle. In this way, you can check that the children are doing the task correctly.
Now play the rest of the CD. Allow time between each description for the children to put the sticker in place.
In pairs, the children compare their answers, then check the answers with the whole class.
