Grade: 6th

Objectives of the Lesson:

-to use new words

-to develop pupils skills in speaking, listening, writing in English

-to answer the questions

Type of the lesson: practical of the lesson.

Methods of the lesson: question- answer, game,exercise,picture.

Visual aids: pictures.

Procedure of the Lesson:

I. Organization moment

T:Good afternoon  pupils!

P:Good afternoon teacher!

T:How are you?

P:We are fine!

P:And you?

T:I’m ok, thank you!

T:Who is on duty today?

P:I am on duty today.

T:Who is absent?

P:All are present.

T:What date is it today?

P:Today is the 3rd of March.

T:What day is it today?

P:Today is Tuesday.

T:What the weather like today?

P:The weather is could, winter, frosty.

T:What is the temperature today?

P:The temperature is below Z(O).

 II. Warm-up

T:Do you like sing the song and dance?

P:Yes we like sing the song and dance?

T:Ok!Guys now I hand out colorfull  roundles.

T:I show you video and when you hear your color you must stand up and dance.

Red, orange, yellow, pink, brown, black, white,blue, green, purple.

T: Is this video was interesting?

P:Yes this video was interesting.

III. Cheking up home task.

T:Open your class book at page-92 dialogue.I read and you listen attentive.

1)

Kate. Look! What’s going on ever there?

Man. Builders found a Roman town when they were building new shopping centre.

Fin.Wow! Lets go and have a look.

2)

Ed.Look! There are archeologists  here.

Kate.They’ve found Roman pots and coins.

Libby.That looks like a piece of jewellery,doesn’t it?It’s beautiful.

3)

Fin.This is wonderful, isn’t it?A Roman town was under our feet all the time.

Archaeologist. Are you interested in the history of the town?

Libby.We are now! Will you come to our club and tell as all about it?

4)

A few days later…

Archaeologist.  Everething we find is helpful, because it tells us something about now the Romans used to live.

Ed. But now can these things tell you anything about the romans?

5)

Archaeologist. Well this is a piece of a statue we found lots of these, so we know that the Romans decorated the in homes with statues.

6)

Ed. That’s amazing.You can learn a lot about the Romans from just a few thing … I think I’ve got an idea. I’ll tell you at the next meeting.

T: Is this dialogue interesting?

What have they found?

P: They’ve found Roman pots and coins.

T: When did bilders find a Roman town?

P:They found a Roman town when they building a new shopping centre.

T:Wher was a Roman town all the time?

P:A Roman town was under our feet all the time.

IV. Presentation of new material.

T: The next ex-3 at page-92.

T: Who can read this task?

P: I can read.

T: Read please.

P:Read again and write the names.

Libby    Fin  Building  Ed

1.Builders  were building  a shopping centre.

2.Fin  wants to look at the Roman town.

3.Libby thinks the jewellery  is beautiful.

4.Ed has an idea.

T: Good job pupils.

T: Pupils look at the picture and repeat after me all together.

P:Write the word.

1.Column noun a tall,round thing made of stone,that holds up a root.

2.block noun a large piece of stone used for building.

3.Steps noun blocks of stone that get higher,that you walk up or down.

4.Archaeologist noun a person who learns about the past from old thing they big up from the ground.

5.Carving noun the shape of a preson or animal made from stone or wood.

6.Statue noun a shape, picture or pattrern  made in stone or wood with a knife.

T: Open your work book at page-78 ex-1.

T: Who can read this task?

P: I can read.

T: Read please.

P: Read the story and complete the sentences.

T: I will give you 3- minute let’s start.

1.Buildres found an old town when theywere building a shopping centre.

2. They found lots of things from a  Roman town in the ground.

3. The DSD club asked an  archaeologist come and tell us all about it.

4.All the things the archaeologist find tell them about now the Romans lived.

5. They know that the Romans had statues in their decorated.

V. Evaluation and home work:

I’ll give you cards and you’ll must fill card.

Learn by heart new words and read the deologue.

T:The lesson is over.
