Let’s talk about some beautiful women.

1. The enduring popularity and appeal of Audrey Hepburn can be attributed to many factors. She had a natural beauty and elegance; she has often been voted the most beautiful woman of the century. However she also had an aura of childlike innocence which portrayed a natural charm and humour. She was held in high regard by many in the film industry; she avoided conflict and many of the top actors said how much they enjoyed working with Audrey. Although she was one of Hollywood’s great stars, she didn’t allow her fame to go to her head; often she would be quite happy to stay at home with her family.

2. Vivien Leigh was a British film and theatre actress, most famous for her Hollywood movies ‘Gone with the Wind’ and ‘A Street Car named Desire’. She was not just a movie actress but also a very good theatre performer. Leigh’s desire to become an actress started very young and her father supported her in her aspiration by enrolling her into an acting school in London. She did many British and Hollywood movies and was famous for various Shakespearean characters that she played on the stage–– ‘Cleopatra’, ‘Juliet’, ‘Ophelia’, etc. She was known to be the most beautiful actress of her time.

3. She has one of the most recognized faces in the world. Over forty years after her death, Marilyn Monroe is still a household name. Marilyn Monroe is an icon, a legend. Marilyn's success was followed with lead roles in the wildly popular «Gentlemen Prefer Blondes» and «How to Marry a Millionaire». She said: “The career is wonderful thing, but it can’t warm in cold nights”.

4. Sophia Loren is an Italian film star. At the age of 15 she was spotted by a producer, her future husband, in a beauty pageant. Several prestigious awards certify that she was not just a pretty face but a complete and true actress. The most significant films featuring Sophia Loren could be considered: ""Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow", "Italian Marriage", "Sunflowers". Sophia Loren had a stable marriage with Carlo Ponti, a man 22 years older to her, and did not remarry after his death.

5. Brigitte Bardot is a French actress and fashion model. She was introduced to dance as a young girl and developed a passion for it. She also began modeling as a teenager and appeared on the cover of France's ‘Elle’ magazine at the age of 15. She made her acting debut in a comedy film and soon endeared herself to the audiences. Eventually she became one of the best known actresses. Following her retirement from the show business, she became an active animal rights activist and established the Foundation for the Protection of Distressed Animals.
