3. Развитие навыков аудирования и развитие речевых умений

Ход урока
Приветствие Good morning, girls and boys! I’m so glad to see you. Sit down, please. I hope you are ready for the lesson so let’s start.

What day is it today? What is the date today?
Do you like English? Is it important for you?
Have you ever communicated with the foreigners?
Have you ever been abroad? Do you want to have friends from other countries?

T: Look at the map (Слайд 2) and name the colored countries on it. Well done and now try to guess what thing unites all these countries?
Pupils: They all speak English. Ok, and if all these countries can speak English how can we name our lesson for today?
Pupil: English – a language of the World
Pupil: May be «Why we learn English?».
Pupil: Probably, we are going to speak about the role of English in our life.
Teacher: Right you are. The theme of our lesson «The role of English in our life and in the world».

Hello everyone. My name is Matoy and today I want to talk about why we need to learn English.
For me, I had to learn English because I live in the United States. But you may not live in an English-speaking country. That is ok. Because we use English for many things.
We use English for business, travel, meeting new people and so on.
Do you travel? There are many airports, subways, trains and bus stations. They have signs in English.
Do you use Internet? There are many websites in English. They can help to improve our lives.
Do you use English for your job? In the global economy English is used very often. So it can help you to improve your job opportunities in the markets.
How can you improve your English? Learning a foreign language is not easy. It takes time to practice. You have to learn vocabulary so you have a good foundation. Don’t worry about making mistakes. Practice every day even if it is only 10 minutes. You’ll gain confidence as you have conversations. Don’t worry about the results. Focus on your progress. Your had work will be paid off in the end.

А теперь давайте попробуем выразить роль английского языка в синквейнах.
Вспомним структуру синквейна
Первая строка — тема синквейна, заключает в себе одно слово (существительное )
Вторая строка — два слова (прилагательные), они дают описание признаков и свойств выбранного в синквейне предмета или объекта.
Третья строка —три глагола, описывающими характерные действия объекта.
Четвертая строка — фраза, выражающая личное отношение автора синквейна к описываемому предмету или объекту.
Пятая строка — синоним, обобщающий или расширяющий смысл темы или предмета (одно слово), обычно существительное, с помощью которого человек выражает свои чувства, эмоции, ассоциации.
