Teacher: Dear friends, we are going to have an unusual lesson. We have read and spoken much about one of the most beautiful cities of the world – London. We learnt a lot of interesting information about its history and sights. We have some guests who visited London and today we shall have a virtual trip to London. At first you will tell her what you know about this great city and then our guest will share her impressions with us and you will be able to ask her some questions. (слайд 2)
But first, I want to ask you some questions about this city and see what you know about it:
What is London?
Where is it situated?
On what river does London stand?
What sights of London do you know?

Teacher: That’s right. London is the capital of Great Britain. It stands on the river Thames. It consists of three parts: the City of London, the West End and the East End. Ok. Let’s see what places we’ll visit today. Welcome to London.(слайд 3)
