Hello! Greeting pupils.

Hand out a slip of paper to each pupil. The pupils move around the classroom, trying to find their classmates with the same number. They ask and answer without showing their slip of paper.

Listen, point and repeat.

Put up the flashcards of school items. Say the corresponding word and pupils repeat chorally or individually.

Ask a pupil to show you a book, a pen, a schoolbag, a pen, a pencil a rubber.

Trace and colour.

Revise the colours by pointing to different items around the classroom and eliciting the colours. Pupils should trace and colour the school items.

Warming-up: “Make a circle”

Sing the “Get your pencil” song.

Pick up a pencil and a pen, point to them and say “Get your pencil! Get your pen!”. The pupils repeat after the teacher.

The pupils listen to the song. Divide the class into two groups and assign a verse to each group. The groups listen to the song and hold up items every time they are heard.

Ask the pupils questions about what they can see in the pictures.
