Australia is on the other side of the world. For us it is an upside-down world. Australia is sometimes
called "down-under" because of its geographical position. The seasons here are the other way round.
Summer is from December to February (New Year is in the middle of summer), autumn is from March to May, winter is from June to August (the middle of winter is in June) and spring is from September to November.
In Australia hot winds blow from the North and cold winds blow from the South.
