Оборудование: Учебник для 4 классов с углубленным изучением английского языка И.Н.Верещагиной,О.В.Афанасьевой, карточки, рисунки, компьютерная презентация.

Ход урока
1.Организационный момент. (2 мин.)
Приветствие.
- Good morning. Nice to see you.
-How are you today?
-What is the weather like today?
-Are you ready to speak English ? Let’s do it then.
2.Целеполагание. (5 мин.)
Мотивация учебной деятельности учащихся.
Е - Let’s guess now what the main theme of our lesson will be? Look at the picture. ( cлайд1)
T - Whom can you see in the picture?
P – Schoolchildren
T -How do you think what country they are from?
P - I think they are from England.
T -What are they doing in the picture?
P -They are going to school.

Just now let’s read a poem about school life and train some sounds. (слайд 5)
Учащиеся отрабатывают и повторяют за учителем несколько звуков, слушают как читает четверостишие учитель, затем воспроизводят рифмовку хором за учителем.( Если позволяет время отрабатывается и индивидуально).

4. Речевая зарядка. (3 мин)
T - Now I’ve got some questions to you.
-What season do you usually go to school?

5. Совершенствование навыков говорения (групповая работа – карточки с вопросами). (10 мин)
Задача учащихся сгруппировать короткие ответы на поставленные вопросы на интерактивной доске и затем дать полные ответы.
T- To discuss the difference between school life in England and Russia let’s work in groups. The first group will talk about English school life and the second – about Russian school life. Put the short answers in the right order, and compare them. (слайд 6)

Pretend a boy from an English primary school came to your English club and you ask him questions about his school. Who wants to play a role of the English schoolboy?
Учащиеся задают интересующие их вопросы однокласснику, исполняющему роль английского школьника:
1. What subjects do you study at school?
2. Do you wear uniform at your school?
3. Do little children in infant school sit in rows?
4. How do the pupils spend time in infant and junior school?
6. What is your favourite subject?
T - What new facts have we got from this meeting with the English boy ?
P1- They wear different uniform in different schools
P2 - In infant school children don’t sit in rows. They play, sing songs, go outside.
8. Развитие навыков монологической речи. ( 5 мин)
Домашнее задание было (подготовить рисунки и описание своей классной комнаты и комнаты Алисы из ее письма к Бэтти.) Упр.10 стр57.
T - Now we know a lot about schools in England. But what about classrooms? What do their classrooms look like? Your hometask was to describe the classrooms in Alice’s school and your classroom – this one. We’ve got the pictures of these two classrooms. Describe them and compare.
P1 - Our classroom is light and big. It has got 4 windows, green blackboard, a teacher’s table and a computer table. It is very comfortable.
P2 – Alice’s classroom is….
T - Are the classrooms different or the same?
P - Mostly the same.

P - It differs a bit but mostly the same. It differs in… It is the same in….
