Тема: We are going to travel.

Цель: формировать навыки чтения, аудирования и устной речи; развивать навыки учащихся в письменной речи; обучать учащихся умению задавать разделительные вопросы.

Оборудование: карточки лото, раздаточный материал, презентация.

Ход урока

I. Подготовка учащихся к учебной деятельности.

Задачи: Организовать учебную деятельность, ввести учащихся в атмосферу иноязычного общения.

Установка: Good morning now.

Wake body, wake mind!

Work, play, seek, find,

Eat breakfast, dinner too,

Wash, brush, sing, dance and do!

Good morning now.

Sit down, please.

II. Сообщение темы и целей урока.

- Сегодня на уроке мы попутешествуем по Лондону, повторим разделительные вопросы и грамматическую структуру to be going to do smth, научимся составлять предложения.

III. Речевая зарядка.

- Вспомним вопросы- «хвостики». Answer my questions.

- You are a pupil, aren’t you? (Yes, I am, I am a pupil)

- You went for a walk yesterday, didn’t you? (Yes, I did. I went for a walk yesterday)

- You like to read books, don’t you?

- Your mum is not a doctor, is she?

- Your friends like to play computer games, don’t they?

- You can swim, can’t you?

- Your friend is not a teacher, is he? (No, he is not. He is not a teacher)

- You will go to the school tomorrow, won’t you?

- You will go to London in summer, won’t you?

- Чтобы нам успешно путешествовать, мы должны знать слова (повторение слов – хоровая работа с визуальным сопровождением).

Repeat after me:

Translate into Russian: local, social, arrange, educational, group, invitation, partner, picnic, program, situation, weekend, to be responsible for, to invite, to be going to, not a bad idea, to visit.

Translate into English: местный, общественный, организовывать, образовательный, группа, приглашать, приглашение, программа, ситуация, уикенд, быть ответственным, собираться что-то делать, не плохая идея, навещать.

(Три игры проводятся параллельно)

- Children, let’s play the game “Gather mushrooms”

(Слова распечатываются крупным шрифтом, разрезаются на 2-3 части, раздаются ученикам. Задача составить слова. Побеждает собравший больше слов- грибов).

Example: local, invitation, social, program, group, partner.

- Let’s remember some English words and play an interesting game. It is called “What is missing?”. You can see some pictures on the blackboard. How many pictures can you see? What words can you see on the pictures? (group, invitation, weekend, partner, local, social, programme). Remember the words, please. Now close your eyes. Open your eyes. What is missing? You are right. It is “group”.

V. Совершенствование орфографии.

- We have learnt a lot of words on the topic “We are going to travel”. But can you write them? Look at the cards and find the mistakes in the following words. Then write down the words to your exercise books.

(Ученики записывают слова в тетрадь, исправляя ошибки, осуществляют взаимопроверку в парах).

VI. Развитие памяти и внимания.

- Boys and girls, I have received an invitation letter from Mr Wooding. We’ll make a trip to London. Are you ready? Let’s go! (просмотр презентации «Достопримечательности Лондона»).

- One of our classmates is going to visit London in summer. Let’s ask her questions what she is going to see there.

1. Are you going to see the Tower?

2. Are you going to visit St. Paul’s Cathedral?

3. Are you going to visit Buckingham Palace?

4. Are you going to see Trafelgar Square?

5. Are you going to visit Madam Tussaud’s Museum?

6. Are you going to see Big Ben?

7. Are you going to see the Houses of Parliament?

8. When are you going to visit London?

- I am going to visit London in July.

VIII. Закрепление лексических навыков.

• Let’s play one more game. It’s called “Loto”.

Учитель диктует слова по-английски (arrange, kiss, stay, picnic, situation, theatre, weekend, programme, parther, idea, invitation, group, cinema, local, educational, social, responsible, shake hands, sorry, time, head teacher).

IX. Обучение составлению предложений.

- And now we’ll learn to make up English sentences. Очень важно научиться правильно строить английское предложение. В отличие от русского языка, в английском предложении определенный порядок слов, который нельзя нарушать.

- Если русское предложение начинается со слова, которое отвечает на вопрос «где», то английское начинается с оборота there is/ are.

- Look at the cards, please. You can see words there. Put them in correct order to make a sentence. You have three minutes to do it.

X. Актуализация навыков аудирования.

- Now I am going to tell you a story. Listen to me carefully and try to understand.

It was my friend’s birthday last week. We decided to arrange a picnic for her. We arranged the date and the time and it was the 15^th of October 10 a.m. Ann was responsible for sandwiches and drinks, Julia was responsible for music anв I was responsible for the social program. The picnic was great. My friend was happy thankful to all of us.

Now decide which statement is true and which is false.

1. My friend’s birthday will be next week.

2. It was the 5^th of October.

3. Ann was responsible for sandwiches and drinks.

4. I was responsible for music.

5. My friend was glad to have such a birthday picnic.

- Listen to my statements, please. If you agree, you will repeat my statement. If you disagree, correct the sentence.
