Good morning, students!

What was your home task? Before checking your home tasks let’s take an apple from the tree which has a word and form a proverb joining each other. And your group depends on your proverb.

The first group is “Health”

The second group is “Knowledge”.

The third group is “labor”.

When you form a verb, find Kazakh equivalent

1. Health group- If each would sweep before his own door. He should have a clean city / Тазалық бар жерде, денсаулық бар.

So before starting our lesson let’s warm-up. So every group should say

the words which belong to your group. I give 20seconds. Then you structure the sentence of your words. Let’s evaluate with your thumbs.

Seven reasons Why Kindness Matters

1 Makes you happier

2 Improves your immune system and health

3 Lowers the rate of depression

4 Makes you feel more creative

5Causes employees to want to work harder for employers .

6 Increases the endogenous opioids in the brain, giving us a natural high.

7 Create the feeling of “emotional warmth”, producing the hormone oxytocic which in turn helps reduce blood pressure and protects the heart.

Ways to manifest kindness

This is probably the hardest thing for a person to achieve. Kindness to self includes:

Self-care

Learning when to say, “no”.

A healthy diet.

Getting a good night’s sleep every night.

Stopping negative self - talk

Giving yourself compliments every day!

Laughing regularly

Letting yourself cry

Meditating

5. Level tasks:

You are going to read to listen to a song called “Put a little love in your heart” Read quickly through the lyrics. What is the message of the song.

1. Find someone to love.

2. No one is perfect.

3. Let’s look after each other.

6. “Critical thinking”

Let’s pay attention to the video about “Kindness matters” and understand it. After watching it you should write a reflection using “Think way method”

Think way method

The first line- the name of the theme. Actual word, main meaning, noun.(Who? What?)

The second line- description. Two adjective words (What?)

The third line - Acts. Three verbs (What do things do?)

The fourth line- Sayings

The fifth line- Phrase, phrasal verbs which have definite meaning.(Synonym or object)

After completing the task each group leader marks the member of his/her group using “Evaluating table for students”
