Цель урока: в ходе индивидуальной, парной и групповой работы с дидактическими материалами актуализировать и развивать знания учащихся о здоровье и здоровом образе жизни.

Задачи:

Обучающие:

1. обобщение с понятием “здоровье”, с факторами влияющими на здоровье человека, на качество его жизни.

2. обучение чтению с извлечением детальной информации.

Развивающие:

1. развитие восприятия памяти, мышления, развитие способности и готовности вступить в иноязычное общения.

Воспитательные:

1. Воспитание у учащихся интерес к здоровому образу жизни, отказа от вредных привычек.


Оборудование и оснащение урока: дидактические материалы, презентация.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент. Приветствие (Слайд № )

Т: Good morning students!

Who is on duty today? - I am on duty today.

What is the date today? (Какое сегодня число?)

What day of the week is it today? (Какой сегодня день недели?)

What month is it now? (Какой сейчас месяц?)

What season is it now? (Какое сейчас время года?)

hen, let's start our lesson. Look at the blackboard and try to guess what the theme of you lesson is? I am sure you know the English alphabet very well. Now name English letters and you will read the theme of the lesson on the board.



Учащиеся называют английские буквы. Если дети отгадали букву из заголовка, то появляется буква в четырехугольнике. На доске появляется слово Keeping fit.

Today we shall have an unusual lesson. I want to invite you to the World of Health. We are going to speak about health, health problems and how to keep fit. We are to revise the vocabulary, listen to the text, work with proverbs, read the texts and do the crossword. So let’s start our lesson.

Класс делится на 3 команды. Каждая команда выбирает себе название. Лидеры групп представляют свои команды.

2. Playing on the computer for hours – играть на компьютере в течении нескольких часов.

5. Watch TV too long - Смотреть телевизор слишком долго

6. Eating many sweets – есть много сладкого



7. Let’s listen about Team: "Vitamins"

Are you getting the vitamins you need? People get vitamins from the food they eat. There are a lot of vitamins in fruit and vegetables. But you can hardly find any useful vitamins in coke, chips and other fast food. Vitamins: A, B, C, D, E.

Vitamin A is in green and yellow vegetables, milk and eggs. It’s necessary for seeing in the dark.

Vitamin B - is in meat, porridge and bread. B is responsible for the nervous system. Lack of this vitamin leads to serious illnesses and even death.

Vitamin C - is important for bones and teeth. It helps to prevent cold.

Vitamin D - is in milk and eggs. People can also get it from sunlight. It makes our bones strong.

It is in the wheat and nuts. Vitamin E - is necessary for skin and body.


8. Smoking is also harmful to our health, isn’t it? Let’s speak about it. Team: "Bad habits"

Name bad habits and give reasons why we shouldn’t follow them. Facts about Smoking. Over 90% of all smokers start before they are 18. The average age for a new smoker is 13. Among the 13-year-old smokers there are more girls than boys. Smoking kills about 3 million people every year. Your teeth will turn yellow. You will have bad breath. Your hair and skin will become dry. You’ll get premature wrinkles. Smoking causes bronchitis, asthma and emphysema. Cigarette smoke clogs and makes lungs awfully dirty. Nicotine is as addictive as heroin or cocaine. Seven out of 10 smokers want to quit, but can’t.

Drinking alcohol. Drinking habits vary. Some people don’t drink alcohol at all, just soft drinks like fruit juice. They are called teetotalers. Others like to sip a glass of wine slowly, just to be tipsy. Others like to drink glass after glass of beer, or possibly spirits such as whisky, brandy or vodka. Soon they become drunk and if they continue, they’ll wake up the next morning with a bad hangover. Some people are dependant on alcohol. They can’t do without it. They are alcoholics. One thing is certain. If you drive, you shouldn’t drink. Stay sober.

The next problem is drugs. Who wants to decide upon this problem? Taking drugs. Addiction to drugs is becoming more and more common every day. Drugs among the young people is a problem which affects the whole society and future generations. Drugs destroy billions of lives every year. An estimated 208 million people internationally consume illegal drugs. You probably know someone who has been affected by drugs, directly or indirectly. Drugs may seem like innocent fun but I have seen first hand how they can destroy lives. I know a lot of teenagers probably experiment but hopefully they realize the dangers and stop there. 9. let’s introduce team: "Good habits" Name Good habits and give reasons why we should follow them. 1. Be Active. Ask your parents to help you do your favourite activities regularly. Find ways to be active every day. 2. Eat a variety of foods, especially fruits and vegetables. Shoot for at least five servings of fruits and vegetables a day-two fruits and three vegetables. 3. Drink water and milk most often. Kids need calcium to grow strong bones, and milk is a great source of this mineral. 4. Listen to your body. When you are eating, notice how your body feels and when your stomach feels comfortably full. Eating too much can make you feel uncomfortable and, over a period of time, can lead to unhealthy weight gain. 5. Limit screen time. What’s screen time? It’s the amount of time you spend watching TV or DVDs, playing video games, and using the computer. Try to spend no more than 2 hours a day on screen time, not counting computer use related to school.

Patient: Thank you. (He coughs badly).

Doctor: That cough sounds really very bad. How long have you had it?

Patient: For about two weeks.

Doctor: I think I should listen to your chest and lungs. Breathe in deeply, that’s right, and once more, please. Sit down. I’m going to take your blood pressure and feel your pulse.

You are seriously ill. By the way, do you smoke?

Patient: Yes, I do.

Doctor: You shouldn’t smoke at all.

Patient: Oh, doctor, I’m afraid. What should I do?

Doctor: First of all stop smoking, take regular exercises, eat healthy food and go in for sports.

Patient: Thanks, doctor. I’ll follow your advice.


Team: "Good habits". At the Doctor’s

P: Hello, doctor!

D: Hi, what’s your name?

P: My name is _____________

D: How old are you?

P: I’m 17.

D: Well, what’s your problem?

P: I have got a sore throat, a temperature and a headache. What should I do?

D: Oh, poor you. Sorry to hear that. Open your mouth, please. It’s red. And what’s your temperature?

P: 37, doctor.

D: I see. If you have got a sore throat, you should stay in bed. Drink hot milk with honey and baking soda. Eat vitamins, onion and garlic, raspberry jam with hot tea. And you will feel better soon.

P: Thank you, doctor. Good-bye.

D: Good-bye.

I’m going to tell you about the man who have a problem and want to lose weight. Повесить картинку с изображением толстяка: I am 120 kilos and I want to lose weight. I usually have tea and cakes for breakfast and I sometimes have bacon and eggs. I get hungry in the middle of the morning and I often eat a bar of chocolate or a sandwich. I usually have a big lunch of something like sausages, beans and chips at Fred’s Restaurant. For dessert I have ice-cream which I love. In the evening I have a sandwich at about 6 o’clock and then I go out for dinner. I like going to an Italian restaurant near my home. Before going to bed I usually have a cup of hot chocolate and some cakes.”


14. Let’s give him some advice on healthy food.

17. Подведение итогов. Домашнее задание (Слайд) Т: I hope you liked our lesson. Today we have spoken about different problems concerning health. Now I want you to make a conclusion and make up health rules for you, your friends, parents for everybody who wants to healthy and happy.

  5. Take care of your skin, hair, teeth
