Aims of the lesson:

a)to speak about geographical position, landscape, climate and population of the country.

b)to develop pupils’ skills in speaking, reading, writing.

c)to bring up pupils to love their motherland.

Visual aids: an interactive board, slides.

Type of the lesson: competition.

Methods: individual, group work,

question – answer.

Procedure of the lesson.   

I.Organization moment.

II.T: I am  very glad to see you

healthy and happy. Let’s begin our

competition lesson. We have 2 groups: 1st group – “Baiterek”, 2nd group – “Khan Shatyr”. (М??алім саба?ты? ма?сатын т?сіндіреді, жоспармен таныстырады. ?аза?стан туралы, Астана туралы ал?ан білімдерін ?орытындылау).

ІІІ.1 task. T: Introduce yourselves.

                               1st group’s Captain: our motto is “There is no place like home”.

                               2nd group’s Captain: our motto is “East or west home is best”.

                               (?здерін ?аза? хал?ыны? мінездерімен сипаттау) I am …… I am

a Kazakh girl. I am kind, polite, optimistic. I love nature.   

2 task: 10 questions about Kazakhstan for two teams (orally)

15 – Speak about the landscape of Kazakhstan.

IV. “Who knows new words best?” Written work.

A game “Bingo” (interactive). Share, desert, resources,

uranium, deposit, gas, rename, reservoir, census, annual,

urban, rural, ethnic, mild, grain, barley, average, country,

mountainous, variety, wheat, considerably, range, vary,

rice.

Оқушылар таңдап таблицаға 16 сөз жазады. Мұғалім

сөздерді қазақ тілінде оқиды. Кімде бірінші болып

1-ші жол не 2-ші жол бітсе, «жеңімпаз» атанады.


V. A competition “What nationalities live in Kazakhstan” (тақтамен жұмыс).

2 топтан екі оқушы шығып, Қазақстанда тұратын халықтардың аттарын қатесіз жазуы керек.
