"Internet" - урок английского языка

Форма урока: Урок актуализации и систематизации знаний и умений.

Цель урока: создать условия для развития коммуникативных умений и навыков.

Формировать УУД:

1. Регулятивные:

-) умение адекватно самостоятельно оценивать правильность выполнения действия и вносить необходимые коррективы в исполнение;

2. Познавательные:

-) формировать познавательные интересы за рамками урока и расширять представления обучаемых о роли Интернета в жизни людей;

-) умение работать с текстом и таблицей, с различными источниками информации;

-) произвольное и осознанное построение речевого высказывания на иностранном языке;

3. Коммуникативные:

-) умение организовывать и планировать учебное сотрудничество с преподавателем и сверстниками, определять цели и функции участников;

-) умение адекватно использовать речевые средства (иностранного языка) для решения коммуникативных задач (рассказ о роли интернета в жизни людей, его плюсах и минусах, высказывание своего мнения);

4. Личностные:

-) умение понимать причины успеха/ неуспеха учебной деятельности;

-) развитие учебно-познавательного интереса.

Знать: необходимую для рассказа об интернете тематическую лексику; распознавать и употреблять новые ЛЕ

Уметь: рассказывать о плюсах и минусах интернета, с использованием информации из различных источников, изученного лексико-грамматического материала и с опорой на образец и высказывать свое мнение о проблеме, употреблять в речи, ранее изученные грамматические структуры

• умение планировать и осуществлять работу в группах;

-) Личностные:

• развитие познавательного интереса к учебному предмету.

• перенос полученных знаний в личный опыт.

I. Вводная часть урока

T: Good morning, my dear friends! My name’s Marina. I’m from media-corporation and I’m glad to work with you today!

T: Yesterday I got a flame by e-mail and came across (встретить, натолкнуться) a very important problem. Look at some slides of the presentation and try to define the problem of our meeting.

T: You are right. The topic of our discussion is “The Internet in Our Life”. We are going to read and discuss the texts about the Internet and prepare to write an essay or an article on the topic.  T: And now I want you to work with the words. Look at slide № 4 and answer what words уou expect to use in our future job?Let’s make some sentences with these words. (Учащиеся выполняют задание на слайде 4: читают слова и строят предположение, какие из них они встретят в дальнейшей работе на слайде, затем придумывают предложения с этими словами.) (Составляем список известной информации.)

 T:Now, You will listen to a text about the Internet and its role in our life. Then do some tasks. We are split into two groups. The first group fills in the gaps. The second group puts correctly jumbled words. Let’s listen two times.

Internet and Modern Life

The Internet is a part of our ordinary life. Everybody knows that the Internet is a global computer network, which embraces hundreds of millions of users all over the world and helps us to communicate with each other in our ordinary life.

The history of Internet began in the United States in 1969. It was a military experiment, designed to help to survive during a nuclear war.

Nowadays most of the people use the network only for sending and receiving e-mail messages, people who do not have e - mail are seen as old - fashioned. We use the internet for reading news, available on some dedicated news servers, telnet, and FTP server and for getting necessary information.

In many countries the Internet could provide businessmen with its own reliable system of telecommunications. The commercial use of the network is constantly increasing. Now you can work through the Internet, gambling and playing through the net.

However, there are some problems. The most important problem is security. When you send an e-mail, your message can travel through many different networks and computers.

There is no effective control in the Internet, because a huge amount of information circulating through the net.

Thieves and hackers may gain access to personal information. Additionally there is an endless amount of violent and sexually explicit sites.

Besides that anyone who surfs the Internet for long periods is clinically ill and needs medical treatment.

Thus there are some pros and cons. But no doubt the Internet is a great achievement of mankind.

T: Compare with the benchmark.  

T: We have been very active today and have done lots of work. Can we use this cluster and speak about the Internet? Divide into two groups. Your task is to speak about its positive (one group) and negative (the other group) points.

 (Осмысление полученных знаний. Учащиеся работают в двух группах: опираясь на составленный кластер, одна группа раскрывает положительные стороны Интернета, а вторая рассказывает о его отрицательном влиянии на людей. Аргументируя собственную позицию с помощью слайда презентации, сравнить групповые кластеры с эталоном. Один из группы объясняет кластер.)

T: In conclusion we should first sum up the topic and then express your own opinion. Which of the opinions is close to your own? Use slide 18 of the presentation.

T: I’d like to thank you for your work. At the beginning of the lesson you put the tasks for yourselves. Have you achieved these tasks? Fill in this table please and see what marks you have today.

VI. Домашнее задание.
