Theme of the lesson: How many boys are there in your class?
Aims of the lesson:
Educational: To enrich pupils’ speech using vocabulary, knowledge, listening activities, memory.
Developing: To develop their reading, writing, speaking skills and grammar, lexical habits.
Bringing - up: To bring - up interest to the subject, to bring - up pupils to be attentive to write neatly.

Outline of the lesson:
І.Organization moment.

- Good afternoon, pupils!

-Good afternoon, teacher!

-Who is on duty today?

-I’m on duty today.

- Who is absent?

- … …. is/are absent or all are present.

- What date is it today?

- Today is the 8th of December.

T: Pupils, today we have an open lesson. First of all I’ll divide you into two groups. Here are pictures of houses and flats. Each of you must choose one picture. The pupils which choose a picture of house will be in the group “House” and a pupil which choose a flat will be in the group “Flat.” If you are ready, let’s begin!

II. Warm – up.

- How many fingers do I have?
Five on my right hand,
Five on my left hand.

- How many fingers do I have?

How many toes do I have?
Five on my right foot,
Five on my left foot.
How many toes do I have?

III. Checking the homework

T: Now, I’ll check up your homework. Look at the board. There are pictures, name them, please. What is this? What colour is it?

This is a ruler.                    This is a computer.

This is a pencil.                  This is a calculator.

This is a table.                    This is a rubber.

This is a pen.                      This is a chair.

This is a book.                    This is a copy-book.

IV. New theme.

«There is / There are » ??рылымдары нені білдіреді ?

Бар дегенді білдіреді ( ана жерде,ана жа?та,мынау жерде,онда )

Мысалы – Сыныпта бір ?ана та?та бар.There is one blackboard in the classroom.

V. Fixing the new theme.

1. Describing pictures.

T: Now, pupils I’ll give a picture of the room to each group and you must describe it.


2. Working at the cards.

T: Let’s work with level cards.

6. Reading.

T: Let’s read the dialogue.

Omar: Hi, Colin.

Colin: Hi, How are you?

Omar: Not bad. How many boys are there in your class?

Colin: Let me see. Yes there are 13 boys and seven girls in my class.

Omar: Are there any boys or girls from Kazakhstan?

Colin: No, there aren’t any. But there are some boys and girls from India and Japan.

VI. Conclusion.
