Your h/w was Ex8 p64. Write a description of your best friend.
Dividing groups
What season is it now? It is autumn. Friends, let’s gather apples in the garden. First group red apples, second group green apples, third group yellow apples.
New theme
Today’s our new theme is Can your friend play the dombyra? What does it mean, dombyra? Dombyra is a Kazakh national instrument. And today we have new words.
New vocabulary:
a school orchestra [ə sku:l ‘ͻ:kistrə]
instrument [‘instrumənt]
violin [vaiə’lin]
flute [flu:t]
guitar [gita:]
cello [ʧeləu]
Use of grammar. Modal verb “can”
Can – бір нәрсені істей алу немесе қабілеттілік дегенді білдіреді. Болымсыз түрде can’t[ka:nt] қолданылады.
Example: I can play I can’t dance
You can read He/She can’t count
We can write We can’t speak
They can swim They can’t cook
