William Shakespeare.

There are a lot of famous British and American writers. Some of them wrote books for children. Others wrote serious books for grown-up people. They lived long ago. But now people know their names and read their books. One of them is a great and well-known British writer and poet William Shakespeare. He wrote many books: tragedies, comedies and poems. He was born in 1564 and died in 1616. He was also an actor at the Globe Theatre in London and acted in his plays. His most famous plays are “Romeo and Juliet” and “Hamlet”.
