І. Organization moment.
Жүргізуші: Good afternoon, dear teachers, dear pupils! Welcome to the party! Nowadays it is very important to learn three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English. As you know there about 3 thousand languages in the world. English is the most widespread. It is the official language in many countries. It is the official language of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, of the USA, of Australia and New Zealand. English is used as one of the official languages in Canada, in the Irish Republic and the Republic of South Africa. It is also spoken as a second language in many parts of India and Africa. English is now dominant or official language in more than 60 countries in the world. It is a language of Internet and it has become the language of business, politics, science, communication.
Today at our school we have a big competition “Who’s the best?” Before our competition let’s invite our judges. They will give you marks for the competition. Бүгінгі сайысымыз “Тапқыр болсаң озып көр” деп аталады. Сайысымызды бастамас бұрын әділ-қазылар алқасын сайлап алайық.

I . We wish you good luck and success. Let’s begin our competition. The first round is “Baiga”. The task is to answer the questions as quickly as possible. Answer the questions in a chain.

5-оқушы: radio, adventure, important (радио, шытырман оқиға, маңызды)

III rd round called is “Do you know proverb?”

1. – оқушы: Отан оттан да … (ыстық, горячий, hot)

2.-оқушы: Көз қорқақ, … батыр. (қол, рука, hand)

3.-оқушы: … адамның арқауы. (ас, еда, food)

4.-оқушы: … көпті жау алмайды. (дос, друг, friend)

5.-оқушы: … жолы жіңішке. (қыз, девочка, girl)

The IV contest is called “Do you Know That”.Бұл бөлімде оқушыларға әр түрлі бағытта сұрақтар қойылады. Бұл кезеңде оқушылардың шапшаңдығы байқалады. Жауабын үш тілде айту қажет.

1 –оқушы: A machine like an electric cupboard that you keep in your kitchen and use for keeping food cool and fresh.(a fridge, холодильник, тоңазытқыш)

2.-оқушы: The room in a house or restaurant where food is prepared to eat. (a kitchen, кухня, ас үй) .

4-оқушы: A place with grass and flowers. (a garden, сад, бау – бақша)

A building or room in a building where you can buy things. (a shop, магазин, дүкен)

5.-оқушы: A wild animal that looks like a large dog. (a wolf, волк, қасқыр)

A small point of light that can be seen in the sky at night. (a star, звезда, жұлдыз)

Жүргізуші.- Knowing foreign languages has a practical value. It makes us easier to choose a profession and provides a job promotion. Today there are a lot of people in Europe and Asia who know several languages. Cardinal Mezzophanty who lived in the middle of the last century knew 100 languages. Professor Hesstermann from Germany knew 132 languages.
- Көптеген тарихи тұлғалар, дипломаттар, қолбасшылар бірнеше тілде сөйлеген. Мысалы, Богдан Хмельницкий 5 тілді меңгерген, ал Екатерина ІІ орыс,неміс тілдерден бөлек тағы да үш тілді жетік меңгерген.
V The next round is “Translator”. Бұл кезеңде сөз тіркестерін үш тілге аудару қажет.

VI.The finished round “Riddles”. Жұмбақтарды шеш.
