Astana

Astana is the capital city of our country.It is beautiful and young .The city’s view and atmosphere indicates an aspiration of Kazakhstan to the future.It is modern and bright,full of up-to-date , sky-scraping buildings .There are many places of interest in Astana.

Khan Shatyr –it is a huge , transparent pyramid. It is one of the biggest shopping and entertainment centres in here.

Ak Orda is the residence of our president.He works and lives in here.

Recreational complex Duman is an interesting place of rest and entertainment.Along with other kinds of amusements like shops,cafes,cinemas ,theatres and parks ,there is also a seaquarium home for more than 2,000 sea animals ,brought from different parts of the world.

What should you start exploring Astana from ? Surely, it is Baiterek Astana’s symbol.The monument embodies Kazakh people’s idea of the universe.It is 105 meters tall.On the top level there is a handprint of Nursultan Nazarbaev the first president of the Independent Republic of Kazkhstan .
