Christmas is celebrated on the 25th of December. It is the most popular holiday in Britain. Before Christmas people are very busy. They buy presents, decorate Christmas tree, send greeting cards. On Christmas Eve parents put presents into the stockings as though Santa Claus brings them. Britains prepare special food. Traditional English dishes are roast turkey, Christmas pudding and pies.

Halloween
Halloween is celebrated on the 31st of October. They say ghosts and witches come out on Halloween. Children make lanterns out of pumpkings. Some people have Halloween parties and dress as witches and ghosts.
Easter
Easter is a religious holiday. It is celebrated in April. It is a time for the giving and receiving of presents which take the form of an Easter eggs. At Easter children eat chocolate egg. Another popular emblems of Easter are fluffy little chicks, Bunny or daffodils.
