Задачи урока: 1) активизировать лексику по теме;
2) развивать навыки монологической и диалогической речи;
3) развитие навыков аудирования по теме.
Ход урока:
I. Организационный момент
Good afternoon, boys and girls! I am very glad to see you. Sit down, please. How are you? What day is it today? Who is absent?
II. Речевая зарядка. (слайд 1)
Let’s start our lesson. Do you go to a public school or a state school? What class are you in? Are your classmates friendly? Are your teachers strict? Today we continue speaking about school.
III. «Мозговой штурм». (слайд 2)
And at first let’s find out what words you associate with the word “school”. Come to the blackboard and write.

Is your life at school easy? Look at the screen. The children are speaking about their schools. Read these texts and fill in the blanks. (слайд 4) Let’s check. (слайд 5)

Do you have to wear a uniform? Do you like your uniform? Look at the screen. Here is a fashion show. Pupils are demonstrating their uniforms. Listen to the tape and guess who is Alan, who is Nigel, and who is Amanda.

Each school has its own rules. Complete the sentences using modal verbs should, shouldn’t, must, mustn’t and make up school rules.
