In Russian schools there are different types of secondary schools. Most of them are state schools where education is free and our school is state one.

The discipline is not very strict. Our school is compulsory. We study from Monday till Saturday. We have to go to school from 8:00 till 8:50. We usually have 6 lessons.

Our school is big and nice. There are three floors with wide corridors.

On the first floor there is an Internet centre, where children can do some tasks with the help of Internet.

Labour classrooms for girls, where they cook and do needlework. To the left there is a big canteen. We can eat there different porridges and first dishes. We can buy candies, chocolates, cookies, buns and etc.

On the first floor there are assembly hall and gym.

Assembly hall for school events and holidays. Assembly hall has big scene for performances and audience hall. There are also discos.

On the second floor there are many classrooms and head teacher's room and medical room. If you have problems with health you can ask for a help our doctor.

On the third floor there is an ethnographical museum, library, three English classrooms and others rooms.

School uniform

In most schools of Russia children wear school uniforms. Some schools accept free style uniform.

In our school the isn`t overall school uniform. We wear uniform of classic style.

Some pupils of our school wear white shirts, other prefer coloured shirts.

It`s forbidden

There are pupils who wear skinny trousers.

Our teachers

Rules for teachers

• teachers must not give a lot of homework
• teachers must respect their pupils
• teachers must know their subject very well
• teachers must prepare unusual lessons

Rules for students

• The students should come to school before lessons (on time).
• They should be prepared for lessons.
• Students should be polite.
• Students should not run around school.
• Students must not smoke take drugs.
• Students should use toilets properly.

• Students should respect teacher and grown ups
• Students shouldn`t miss lessons
• Students shouldn`t talk with classmates during lessons
• Students should listen to the teacher carefully
• Students should wear school uniform

We like our school

• The school is new and nice
• The teachers are very good
• My friends go to the same school
• We like our school uniform
• This is the only school in our life

We asked 75 pupils of our school and there is result of our review. But we combined our review with the project «School of future». You will see it later.
