-Good morning dear students! How are you today? Who is on duty? What date is it today? Who is absent?
II. Warm – up:
-Let us play the game “Guess the melody”
Listen to music and find what kind of music it is.

1. Presentation:
-After all this, have you found the name of our new theme?
-We will speak about music today and the title of our new theme is “Music keeps me happy!”

P: It reflects our mood, our state of soul, our style of life.

P: We can hear music everywhere: in concert halls, shops, on TV, over the radio, in the parks, at homes, in transport and even in the street.
T: What do you think about when you listen to music?
P: When I listen to music, I forget about everything.

2. Reading the text.
a) Read what Sue, a teenager, says about music:
Well, I love music. I listen to it all the time. I have a Walkman so I can listen to music when I’m out. At home, I always have the radio on and I watch pop programmers on TV. I buy an album or cassette once a week, usually something in the top ten. Pop music (loud enough) keeps me happy.
b) Read what her Grandmother says:
I understand Sue is only 14 but she's driving me mad with her music. I can't talk to her because she's always got that Walkman on and she can't hear me. Sometimes it's the TV or the radio. I am not worried only because 1 can't talk to her, no! 1 am worried because she doesn't do anything else. She never reads, writes letters or phones her friend. It's just pop music!
