I. Greeting. Warm-up.

1. Вступительное слово учителя. (Приложение 1 - Презентация)

Hello, dear friends, Glad to see you. I hope you are OK. You are full of energy and optimism because you are young, and when a person is young and healthy he is ready to cope with problems and difficulties. Now we continue speaking about health. You’ve prepared at home the matherial concerning our today’s theme. Look at the board, so Match the proverbs and what do you think , what the theme of our lesson ?Yes ,of course the subject of our lesson today is “Alternative Medicine”. Well, before we start discussing problems I’d like to ask you:

1. Match the proverbs.

When you worry a lot you may get stressed. Is stress good or bad? Does stress make our life dangerous? what kind of medicine do you know?

 Ответы : традиционная и альтернативная (не стандартная )

V. Discussion. Traditional or alternative medicine.

(Работа в группах)

Teacher: Do you often go to doctors? Do you always use traditional methods of treatment? Do you believe in alternative medicine? 

(Ответы учащихся) Alternative medicine is more beneficial to the body than traditional as it does not harm our body, all medications composition of their chemistry, which is very bad for us, one treats other harms .

(учащиеся делятся на группы: 1 – те, кто считают, что только традиционные методы лечения помогут справиться с болезнью; 2 – те, кто верят в альтернативные методы лечения и в народную медицину. Каждая группа после непродолжительного обсуждения приводит аргументы в пользу своего мнения.)

I do not agree with you, at the moment a lot of diseases that can be cured only with the help of drugs or doctor. For example toothache, treated only with medical intervention

Учащимся можно предложить воспользоваться дополнительным материалом, который они могут использовать в своих ответах, и приводить примеры из собственного опыта, из жизни. Кроме того, продуктом данного задания я вится графический результат обсуждения в виде кластера, выполненного на плакате. (Выступление учеников с класстером )

Учитель знакомит с видами альтернативной медицины и людьми обладающие этой профессией .Look at the blackboard and repeat after me .
