Внеклассное мероприятие «Бал цветов»
Цель: Формирование интереса к языку, создание положительного отношения к его изучению.
Задачи:
Расширить словарный запас.
Расширить кругозор учащихся, фоновые знания по предмету.
Стимулировать самостоятельную речемыслительную деятельность.
Формировать у учащихся внутреннюю мотивацию к изучению языка и культуру общения.
Оборудование: костюмы, картинки с изображением цветов, мультимедиа проектор, кроссворд, магнитофон, 2 вазы, искусственные цветы.
Учащиеся заранее обсуждают и находят самый интересный вариант проведения праздника. Предварительная работа велась в группах.
Весь праздник сопровождается презентацией, созданной ребятами.
Ходпраздника
Ведущий 1: As you know, there are a lot of different flowers. They are spring flowers, summer flowers, autumn flowers and even winter flowers.
Ведущий 2: Today we’ll admire their bright dresses, hear their merry voices and hear their wonderful stories.
Ведущий 1: “A Talk about Flowers” (заранее разучить со всеми детьми).
- Tell me, please, children, What blooms on a fine spring day?
Pupils:
The lily of the valley Blooms on a fine spring day. - Can you say, children, What blooms on a summer day?
Pupils:
A pansy, a sweet little pansy, Blooms on a summer day. - Don’t you know, children, What blooms on an autumn day?
Pupils:
The aster so gay and pretty Blooms on an autumn day. - And now, children, What blooms on a winter day?
Pupils:
Children’s cheeks and noses Bloom on a winter day.
Ведущий 2: Each flower has its own life and it is interesting in its own way.
Ведущий 1: You can see 12 different flowers there.
Ведущий 2: Why are they 12?
Ведущий 1: You know, there are 12 months in the year and there is a special flower for each month.
Ведущий 2: Really? It’s very interesting. And do winter months have their flowers?
Snowdrop: Yes, they do. I am a snowdrop. I’m the flower for January. I am as white as snow. I appear in forests and gardens when there is still snow there.

Primrose: I’m a primrose. I’m the flower of February. I can be white, yellow, red, pink, rose, purple and orange. The primroses look like stars.
Daffodil: I’m the first spring flower, I bloom in March. I am a daffodil. I am usually yellow and I have a sweet pleasant smell.
I’m a daffodil so lovely and gay.
I show you that summer is soon on its way.
Daisy: I’m a flower of April. My name is Daisy. You can see me everywhere: in the fields, gardens and even roadsides.

At evening, when you go to bed You can see the star shines overheard. I am a little daisy white That dots the meadow of the night.
But when at morning you arise There’s not a star left in the skies. Instead you see a little daisy In the green meadows of the town.
Dandelion: My name is Dandelion. I’m the flower of May.
I’m a yellow Little fellow. When I’m old, I’m grey. If you shake me You can make me Sail far away.

Bluebell: I’m June’s flower bluebell. I am blue like the sky and my dress looks like a bell.
Rose: I’m a rose. I’m the flower of July. I have many pretty dresses – red, yellow, pink and white.
I’m the most beautiful flower, I suppose, I’m quite lovely, as everyone knows.

Shaded and cool is the flowering garden; Dusty and hot is the neighboring street, And over the wall climb the pretty roses, Giving the passers a pleasant sweet.
Poppy: My name is Poppy. I’m the flower of August. I can be bright red, orange, purple or yellow. I look like a cup.

High on a bright and sunny bed A scarlet poppy grew. And up I held my pretty head And thrust it full in view.
Morning glory: September’s flower is a morning glory. I am a climbing plant with blue or purple flowers. My green leaves look like small green hearts, but my blossoms are like bells.
Hop: My name is Hop. I’m October’s flower. I’m a climbing plant. I often decorate country houses.
Chrysanthemum: And I am the most beautiful autumn flower. I’m the flower of November. I can be white, yellow, red, purple or pink.
Holly: I’m very unusual flower. I’m holly. I produce red berries for the Christmas season, that’s why I’m December’s flower. I have prickly green leaves. I’m an evergreen.

Ведущий 1: Now, let’s solve the crossword about flowers.
Ведущий 1: Put flowers in the vase. (На столе разложены разные цветы. Два участника по очереди называют цветы и ставят их в свои вазы. Выигрывает тот, кто собрал больше цветов).
Ведущий 2: It was very funny to be at the ball of flowers, but a good beginning makes a good ending. And our ball is coming to the end. Let’s sing a song “All will be Dancing”.
One, two, three, One, two, three, Come to my party Today, if you please. Roses and lilies Will dance in the breeze, Bright yellow candles Will bow to the blue, All will be dancing And I’ll dance with you.
