Цель мероприятия: развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции.

Образовательные задачи урока:

1)обобщить материал по теме «Великобритания»;

2) активизировать лексику по теме;

3) активизировать грамматический материал;

4) практиковать учащихся в монологической речи, аудировании;

5) обучить учащихся составлять мультимидийные презентации;

6) провести параллели между Великобританией и Россией.

Развивающие задачи урока:

1. развивать широту взглядов;

2. сенсорное восприятие;

3. сферы личности школьника: эмоциональную, интеллектуальную, мотивационную;

4. умения и навыки самостоятельной работы;

5. учебно-интеллектуальные умения и навыки (анализ, логика, систематизация и т.д.);

6. развивать память, внимание, воображение, наблюдательность, опыт творческой деятельности;

7. развивать умение сконцентрироваться для успешного выполнения задания;

8. межличностные взаимоотношения школьника в общении.

Воспитательные задачи урока:

1) воспитывать нравственно-этические умения (слушать не

перебивая, проявлять толерантность к ошибкам других);

2) нравственные качества (ответственность, долг);

3) развивать интеллектуальную активность, стремление к

самоусовершенствованию;

The Southeast is famous for:

1. London (the capital of Great Britain)

1. Stonehenge, one of the remarkable historic places in the UK.

   world.

   army against King Charles 1 in the Civil war and later became Lord Protector of England.

The Midlands is famous for:

1. Its industry. It is the largest industrial part in the country.

2. W. Shakespeare. Stratford is the birthplace of W. Shakespeare.

3. For Oxford. One of the oldest cities and universities in the world.

The North of England is famous for:

1. The ruins of Hadrian's Wall. A stone wall built across the North of England to
   defend the North border of Roman Britain from Scottish tribes.

The most famous British Royal home is Buckingham Palace. But it is not the only one. The Queen and her family have several other castles and official residences, country houses.

The Queen is a constitutional monarch. That means she isn't the head of the government, but she is the official head of the state. So she does what Parliament tells her. And she reigns but doesn't rule.

As Head of State the Queen maintains close contact with the Prime Minister, with whom she has a weekly audience when she is in London, and with other Ministers of the Crown.

The State Opening of Parliament happens in the first week of November. On that day Her Majesty in her Crow Jewels or the royal regalia from the tower of London travels from Buckingham Palace to Westminster in the State Coach. In Parliament in the House of Lords she makes a speech about the governments plans for the next year. The Queen doesn't write it, she only reads out what the Prime Ministers staff writes for her.
