Intellectual game

«Polyglot»

The aims

Educational- to practice talking, working individually and translating the sentences. To revise and practice, to check pupils` knowledge about tongues, to develop pupils` abilities in oral speaking and comprehension.

Developing- to develop thinking, understanding, memory, oral speech, reading, listening skills.

Bringing up- to teach the pupils to love their mother tongue and respect foreign languages, to bring up patriotic feelings to their motherland. And to bring up love and interest to the subject, respect to each other.

The aids: interactive board, slides, pictures

The methods: questions- answer, practical, listening, thinking

The content of the game.

T: Good afternoon! We are glad to greet you at our action. The 22nd of September is the languages Day in Kazakhstan. Language is weapon in the struggle of the life. In the world people speak in different languages. But every language has it`s own aim-  it is to help and understand each other. It is studied as a foreign language in many schools. So it is very useful to learn foreign languages. Knowledge of foreign languages helps us to develop friendship and understanding among people too.

You are Welcome to our «Polyglot» intellectual show. I hope, you will enjoy  our game.

So, let`s start.  The first I must choose the best of pupils. I have questions for you, and you should answer them. Who answers to my questions they  will take in  the game.

4. По- английски каждый день ручку называем.. (ручка, pen)

5. Дочку вы назовете, дочка по- английский

6. Я не человек, но рассказываю (книга, book)

My name is Asem. I`m a pupil. My face is oval. My hair is long and yellow. My eyes are green. My lip is red. My blouse is pink. My skirt is brown. My shoes are black. My bag is orange.

The aims
