The aim: to develop pupils’ intellect

Tasks: To practice listening, speaking; To show the importance of being well-educated; To develop pupils’ speech, logical and cognitive thinking; To enrich pupils’ knowledge of foreign languages.

Teacher: Good morning, dear children, guests. Today we are going to talk about very interesting information about English speaking countries. You are welcome to our intellectual game “English-speaking countries”. I am glad to see you and hope you’ll enjoy to this game. Pupils from 10^th forms will participate in this game and have 3 teams. “Rose”; ”Daffodil” , “Thistle”. Rose- is a simbol of English. Daffodil- is a simbol of Wales. Thistle- is a simbol of Scotland.

Leader: We think that the game will be interesting and useful for you. We wish everybody good luck. Now I am glad to introduce the participants of our intellectual game, and this is our jury. Participants introduce themselves. Jury consist from pupils 11 grade.
