Тема урока: «Мой день рождения» («It’s my birthday»)

Цель урока: способствовать развитию навыков ознакомительного и изучающего чтения, навыков аудирования, формирование лексических навыков

Класс: 5

Образовательные задачи:

1. Развивать читательскую грамотность учащихся.

2. Учить реагировать на реплики согласно заданной ситуации.

3. Учить извлекать нужную информацию из прочитанного текста.

Развивающие задачи:

1. Развивать лингвистическую компетентность учащихся и их познавательную активность.

2. Учить самостоятельной работе, действиям по образцу и аналогии.

3. Развивать внимание, аутентичный слух, память, воображение и творческий потенциал учащихся.

4. Развивать языковую догадку.

Воспитательные задачи:

1. Воспитывать доброжелательное отношение к одноклассникам и умение работать в коллективе

2. Поддерживать интерес к изучению языка.

Планируемые результаты:

Личностные: формирование мотивации к продолжению изучения английского языка, овладение культурой речи, формирование устойчивой учебно-познавательной мотивации, воспитание ответственного отношения к учению.

Метапредметные: читать текст с целью поиска конкретной информации, понимать английскую речь на слух с целью извлечения конкретной информации, усвоение общеучебных умений и универсальных познавательных действий.

Предметные: умение рассказывать о праздновании дня рождения, умение употреблять лексику по теме, овладевать навыками чтения и аудирования.

Вид урока - комбинированный

Формы работы на уроке: фронтальная, индивидуальная.

Виды речевой деятельности: говорение, аудирование, чтение, письмо.

Ход урока

I . Организационный момент. Определение темы урока.

Good morning, children. Close your eyes and listen to the music. Where are you? How do you think what is the theme of our lesson today?

(Случают музыку и называют предполагаемую тему урока)

You are right. Today we’re going to talk about birthday parties in different countries, to revise the words on the theme “Foods” and “Special Days”.

II . Формирование лексических навыков.

Let’s start with the association. What do you imagine when you hear the word “Birthday”?

(Balloons, parties, presents, flowers, friends, food and drinks, cakes, candles, music, games, songs…)

• How do you celebrate it?

Now let’s read how Chris celebrates his birthday – p.71 (Test Booklet), answer the questions about his birthday.

III. Формирование навыков аудирования.

I like birthdays very much. People usually dance, eat different tasty food, play games. And how do people plan their birthdays? Is it easy? Bob and Ann are talking about Bob’s birthday. Look at the “Birthday Party Plan”, listen to Bob and Ann and complete the gaps with the missing words. (p. 99 №8 SB)

• What day of the week will the party be?

• What time will the party start?

• How many people will there be?

• What food and drinks will they have?

• What will they do at the party?

IV. Физкультминутка.

Do you want to be healthy? Health is above wealth. Don’t be lazy, give me fire, exercise your body everybody. Are you ready? Here we go!

Show the rotations: five to the front and five to the back. Begin: 1, 2, 3,4 5, and back – 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Let’s warm up our hips, starting from the left to the right. 1, 2, …10 Well done.

Shake your body to the sides, hug yourself and go on

I’m sure that you know a lot about birthdays. But do you know anything about celebrating birthdays in Britain and China? Let’s read interesting texts at the p. 100

Look at the pictures and read the title of the texts – It’s birthday treats.

Who can guess the meaning of the word “treats”?

Treat – different types of food.

To understand these texts, we’ll need to learn the new words, repeat them after me:

to bring a gift

sausages on a stick

long needles

mean

try not to cut

unlucky

bring good luck

get money in red envelopes

Now, listen and read the texts.
