Traditional British and Kazakh food
The aims of the lesson:
Тo educate in children the respect to traditional food in Britain and Kazakhstan and the interest for the culture of eating;
Тo train to differ incites countable from uncountable things
Тo develop the skills of speaking, reading and writing on the theme.
The type of the lesson: lesson-combination
The lexis: traditional food, sausages, meal, moats, pudding, drinks, dishes, tasty, mutton, product.
The grammar: Countable and Uncountable nouns
The visual aids: the English book, a blackboard, pictures, photos, cards, magazines and the table with traditional British and Kazakh food.
Procedure of the lesson:
I. The organization part (3-5 min).
II. The check-up of the homework.
1. Retelling of the text «British food».
Dialogue about food.
Ex.14 p.69
III. The introduction of the new theme.
1. What are the countable and uncountable things?
pen - one, two - pens (countable)
milk, meat (uncountable)
