Theme: About the past.

Aims:

Educational - to teach pupils to answer for questions/describe the world around us/ learn new words.

Developing – to develop their vocabulary; writing, listening, speaking, reading skills

Cultural – to bring up to be courtesy, responsibility, honest and be friendly.

We don’t usually hear a lot about childhood of famous people. We usually hear about their adult life. But 2011 film about President Nursultan Nazarbayev is different: the film is all about his childhood. The film’s title in English “The sky of my childhood”. The boy in the film grows up in the hill Ushkonyr near Almaty. Three actor play different parts of his childhood: one is his child; another is an older child and there is a young teenager. He and his family lived in a yurt and in the village of Shamalgan. Life was hard for many people.

Task: Answer the questions.

What this text about?

What do you know about his childhood?
