Theme:"The Teen's Life"

The aims: to know more about youth subcultures,topractise reading, to express own opinions.

1.Teacher. - Teenagers have a particular relationship with the world. There are a lot of groupings or subcultures that have intrests different from those of the mainstream.So,today we shall speak about some of them.Firstly we'll listen to information which your classmates have got.Well,Natasha you are welcome.

2.Presentation.(Natasha shows her presentation)

3 Teacher.- So,you have listened to the information and I would like to know if you are agree that a particular grouping is the way to express their individuality and what is your and grown-ups altitude to them.(Pupils express their opinions)

4. Teacher.- Very often people do something not because they want to do it.They do things because everybody around does it or because they think it's impossible to refuse. Let us make up some short dialogues using expressions of unwillingness of doing something ,givingreasons.Piease look at the blackboard.(Pupils make short dialogues using these expressions)

6.Teacher.- There is a very interesting story about motorbike club “Night Wolves”. Open your books at page 86 and read exercise 3(a).(Pupils read the text)Then they answer the questions.

6. Why is the club so famous?(Because of the first Russian Bike show which took place in 1995)

7.What does the biker prefer in Russia? (A heavy bike like Harley Davidson and a leather jacket and of course own values and beliefs)

8.Are bikers really aggressive?(In most cases they have only threatening appearance)

7. Teacher.-Your homework was to express your attitude towards members of different subcultures in your letters to a newspaper. So. Let us listen to some of them.(Students read their letters)
