The aim: by the end of the lesson the Ss will be able to write a paragraph with arguments for and against on base the text.
The Objectives the Ss will be able to answer the questions on the text Rap Style and to formulate arguments for and against.
Materials and equipment: Ss’ handouts, SB English IX O.V.Afanasyeva, I.V. Mikheeva .
New language and structure: Rap Style language
Language to be revised: Active vocabulary of the unit, language to express opinion, to give reasons and argumentation.

Read the text “Rap Style” ex58 page 161 and answer the questions after it.
Discussion
Look through the text again and formulate arguments for Rap, against Rap.
Sample:
For:
1)Rap Style is the way to express oneself.
2)If there are words “guns”, “money” in the song it doesn’t mean they call for killing and bribery.
Against:
1)Rap calls for violence. These music degrades women calling them bad names.
2)Rap songs affect teens attitude towards money making them believe money is the most important thing in the world.
IV. Writing a paragraph”If Rap Is to Blame?” Follow the plan.
Introduction (state the idea).

Conclusion (include your opinion).
