Урок в 6 классе
Тема урока «Правила безопасности дома»
Цели: познакомить учеников с новой лексикой по теме, развитие навыков восприятие новых слов на слух и употреблять их в своей речи. Совершенствование навыков диалогической и монологической речи при решении проблемных заданий.
Воспитывать в учениках ответственное отношение к своему здоровью.
Ход урока
T. Children must know some rules of safety at home. Let’s speak about these rules.
Answer the questions, please.
Is it safe not to switch the iron off?
Can we forget to turn the water or the gas off?
Why can’t we? Is it safe?
Why you shouldn’t play with matches?
Why it isn’t safe to leave the knife on the table?
Is it safe not to close the window when you go out?
T. Listen and repeat.(фонетическая отработка новых слов)

T. Let’s play the game (who knows the words better). Fill in the missing letters.

T. Make up your own dialogues using these questions:
Do you play with matches? Why not?
Do you always switch the kettle, iron off?
Do you turn the water, the gas off when you go out?
What should you do to be safe at home?
T. Remember these rules:
You should switch the light off
You should turn the water and the gas off
You should put the knife into the drawer
You shouldn’t play with matcher
T. (revising the Present Perfect )
Ask your friends questions in Present Perfect with the following verbs:
( play, forget, turn off, switch off, leave)
e.g. Have you ever….? (forgotten to turn the water off)
Haven’t you ever….? (played with the matches?)
T. Answer the questions, please
What will happen if you forget to close the window when you go out?
What will happen if you don’t turn the water off?
Should you open the door to stranger? Why not?
T. Read the rules of safety at home again and say which of them you always keep and why: which of the rules you don’t always follow.
T. Imagine the situations and describe them.
The fire was terrible.
P. The fire was terrible. The wind was strong and it makes the fire bigger. The fire has destroyed the house . Nothing could stop it.
Home task: describe something you do wrong not to be safe at home.
