BatyrkhanShukenov, Dilnaz Akhmadieva. Who are they? What are they? They are singers. They both are Kazakhstan’s popular singers.
- The theme of the lesson: The popular singers of Kazakhstan. Today we are going to speak about Batyr’s and Dilnaz’s lives and career.
1st group will present the information about Batirkhan Shukenov.
2nd group will present the information about Dilnaz Akhmadieva.

1st group. Shukenov Batyrkhan Kamalovich was Kazakh, Russian singer and composer, he was born on May 18, 1962 in the city of Kyzylorda, Kazakhstan.
He began making music at an early age. At school, he played in a band called Dostyk, and learned to play the bass guitar. Batyrkhan decided to make career in music, so after finishing school in 1979 he went to Leningrad and studied music at Leningrad State Institute of Culture.
In 1981, Batyrkhan returned to Kazakhstan. He continued his education his education at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. Here, he learned the saxophone and started playing in a band called Arai.
In 1987, Batyrkhan became a member of Alma-Ata, which later became A-Studio. Baryrkhan was the lead singer in the band and he played the saxophone. In 1989, the A-Studio song Julia was a big hit and the band immediately became popular in Kazakhstan and the USSR. Among the group's most famous songs, "White River", "Stop the night", "Soldier of Love", "These warm summer days", "Unloved" and many others. Although A-Studio was very successful, Batyrkhan decided to start his own career in 1999. His music was very popular, and he had won many prizes.
But Batyrkhan wasn’t famous for his music. He was also known for improving the lives of children. In 2009, the United Nations Children’s Fund recognized Batyrkhan’s work for children. They made him a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Kazakhstan.
According to different sources, Batyrkhan has a son from his first marriage Maksut (born in 2002), about other children do not have any information.
He was only 52, when he died in Moscow, in 2015.
2nd group. Dilnaz Ahmadieva was born in November 20, 1980 in Alma-Ata in a family of musicians.
Her father - Murat Ahmad (1950), musician and founder of the popular Uighur-pop ensemble "Yashlyk" (1974), since 2007 - the deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
She was only four when she acted in her first film, she starred in the children's fantasy film "Magic apple” and only six when she first sang on the stage in Almaty. She became famous in the 1990s and made five albums of songs.
In 1997, she graduated from high school in 2002, completed her education at the Faculty of English Kazakh State University with a degree in international languages translator - reviewer.
In 2002, she presented Kazakhstan at the international song contest "New Wave" in Jurmala, Latvia.
She has performed in Asia, Europe and America. She also appeared in films, played the role of Hoshi in Kazakhstan film "Nomad".
In 2007 Dilnaz Ahmadieva started recording her new album in the United States Hollywood, California.
She sings in Russian, Kazakh, Uighur and English. In 2008, she recorded the song "Romeo and Juliet".
Also in 2008, Dilnaz Ahmadieva became a general director in "Embassy of Art”. Its activities are aimed at assisting models, actors, musicians and anyone who is interested in art.
In 2012 she was awarded the title "Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan"
