Тип урока: комбинированный

Цели урока: совершенствование языковой и коммуникативной компетенций учащихся в рамках заданной темы

Задачи урока:

• обучающие:

• развитие умений восприятия и понимания речи на слух и чтения;

• учить учащихся пользоваться английским языком во всех видах речевой деятельности в рамках коммуникативной ситуации урока;

• расширение кругозора учащихся;

• способствовать формированию умения извлекать необходимую информацию из текста

• развивающие:

• развитие памяти и внимания;

• создать условия для развития речи, для совершенствования слуховых навыков; развития памяти, внимания, логического мышления;

• развитие способности к логическому изложению содержания высказывания;

• способствовать развитию познавательного интереса к изучаемому предмету;

• создать условия для активного взаимодействия;

• воспитательные:

• воспитание познавательного интереса к предмету;

• способствовать повышению культуры речи и культуры общения на английском языке;

• способствовать воспитанию внимательного отношения друг к другу, умения слушать и слышать собеседника.

Методы: коммуникативный.

Оборудование: ноутбук, раздаточный материал, картинки с героями мультфильмов, мультимедийная презентация по теме «My favourite film» в Power Point.

1. Организационный момент

Good morning! I am happy to see you. How are you today? What date is it today? What’s the weather like today? Do you like it?

At first let’s practice our pronunciation, let’s train the tongue-twister

A big black bug bit a big black dog on his big black nose.

Well done! Now your pronunciation is almost perfect!

What happened to the dog in the poem? Do you have a dog? Has anything happened to it?

Open your Pupil Books on page 203. You’ll work with exercise 3a.

Work in pairs, fill in the text with the missing vocabulary. You can find the missing vocabulary before the text. You have 3 minutes to complete the text.

Let’s check your answers. You can see the correct answers in the slide.

Let’s answer some questions:

• What book has Nick just finished?

• Did he like the book?

• What is the book about?

• Who is the author of the book?

• What books is Nick going to borrow from the library?

1. Работа с аудиозаписью

Now we are going to listen to a dialogue. Two people – Nick and Liz are going to do something. Listen to their dialogue and say – what they are going to do on Saturday.

So, what are they going to do on Saturday?

Yes, your answer is correct! Well-done!

Now we are going to listen to their dialogue one more time. Before listening find the green cards on your desks. They represent the dialogue – Nick’s and Liz’s parts. But the parts are mixed. Listen to their dialogue and restore their parts in the correct order.

So, let’s check. We are going to read the dialogue and its parts – as they were in the listening.

Now find the orange cards on your desks. You are going to make a similar dialogue – but about yourselves. Fill in free spaces with the information about you.

It’s time to have some rest. Please, stand up!

I’m going to throw you a ball and you are to catch it. When you catch the ball, I’ll ask you to give English equivalents for some Russian adjectives which can help you to describe the characters of your favourite books/films/cartoons.

You are going to work in groups of four. Choose a card and you’ll see what group you’ll work in.

Now each group will choose a card with a character.

Make up a short presentation about Sponge Bob (group 1) and the Little Red Riding Hood (group 2).

While getting ready with your presentation, answer the questions:

• What does he/she look like?

• What is he/she like?

• What do you know about him/her?

Your time is up. Come up to the board and present your projects.
