Открытый Урок по Английскому языку. Что? Где? Когда?

Урок построен по принципу Викторины, посвященной теме " Спорт" и " Олимпийские игры". Класс разделен на две команды - " Телезрители " и " Знатоки". "Телезрители " задают вопросы, " Знатоки " отвечают на них. Игру ведет Ведущий, который за счетом и регулирует процесс игры. На столе лежат Буквы-карточки, на обратной стороне которых написаны вопросы по теме Спорт. В первом раунде участники поочередно отвечают на выбранные ими вопросы. После первого раунда следует музыкальная пауза, во время которой участники в виде пантомимы показывают различные виды спорта - хоккей, футбол, теннис. фигурное катание, лыжный слалом и так далее. В последующие раунды учащиеся задают вопросы о любимых видах спорта, любимых командах и о правилах игры различных видов спорта, о месте проведения Олимпийских Игр в разные годы. Выигрывает команда, набравшая наибольшее количество балов.

The pupils are coming and take their place.

Compete. Good morning, dear boys and girls!

Children. Good morning!

Compete. We have gathered to the game. What? Where? When?

On the left hand is the team «TV Watchers»

(The audiences greet them with applauses).

Let me introduce the team «Know- all».

The captain of the team is…… (applauses).

The other members are…… (applauses).

I think it is better to ask them questions before they take their place.

«TV Watchers» questions.


  1. What is your favorite sport?

  2. What kinds of summer sports do you know?

  3. What winter sports do you enjoy?

  4. What games do children like to play?

  5. What ball games do you know?

  6. Do you like to play games or do you like to watch them?

  7. Which season is the best for sports and games?

  8. Does sport make people strong and healthy?

  9. Why is sport so popular?

(After answering the question, the pupils take their places).


The music sounds.

Compete. I wish you good luck. First think then speak.

(10 letters lay on the table. Compete reads the question).

(The pupils cong before the game brought the letters with the question and the right answers).


Letter No. 2. 1. What country is the football team «Anderlich» from?

2. What man’s volley ball team was the champion on the Moscow Olympic Games?


Letter No. 40. 1. Look at the picture. Make up the story.

2. What games do children like to play?


Letter No. 10. 1. What soviet football players do you know?

2. What kinds of sports do you know?


Letter No. 5. 1. Why is figure – skating so popular?

2. What Olympic champions do you know?


Letter No. 25. 1. What sports are you good at?

2. How many days did the ancient Olympic Games last ?

The «TV Watchers» is given the chance to answer these questions too and add some more interesting facts. One pupil announces the scores).

Then comes a short rest. Pantomima.


The pupils of both teams show each other some elements from different kinds of sport.

Then the gong sounds. The players take their places and the second round begins.


Letter No. 45. 1. What do you know about the Olympic Games in ancient Greece?

2. Do you know the Olympic bath or motto?


Letter No. 4. 1. What is your favorite game?

2. Football is very popular. What do you know about football?


Letter No. 8. What ball games do you know?

2. Name the kinds of sports you see in the picture?


Letter No. 6. 1. Does sport make people strong and healthy?

2. Sound letter. (The pupils listen to the why Ann and nick don’t show good results in sports).


  1. «What is your favorite sport, Ann? ».

«I like figure – skating best? ».

«Are you good at it? ».

«Oh, no, I’m not. I don’t in for it. I enjoy watching figure– skating competitions ».


2. «Let’s play chess, Nick! ».

«I can’t play against you. You re our school chess champion».

You don’t train enough. If you train more you’ll be a better chess player».

Id like to. But I have no time».


Letter No. 30. 1. What do you know about Kasparov?

  1. What is your favorite football team?

Compete. Musical pause. Children dance. The break.

The second lesson begins.

Compete. Let’s begin the first round.

The captain of these team is…….


  1. My name is….. I’ am good at….

Where there is a will, there is a way.

  1. My name is….. Sports make me strong and healthy.

  2. My name is….. My favorite game is…..

  3. My name is…..I am very fond of sports.

All work and play makes jack a dull boy.

  1. My name is….. Practice makes perfect.

I am good at chess.

(Applauses).


The pupils take their places.

2. What forms of invitations do you know? Invite somebody from the team of «TV Watchers».


Letter No. 3. 1. What outdoor games do you know?

2. How many stadiums, sports – clubs, swimming –pools are there in our town?


Letter No. 35. 1. Was athlete Gerakl a world champion in chess?

Who is your favorite sportsman?


Compete. You worked hard and now let’s remember the poems about sports.

Come out to play.

Girls and boys, come out to play,

2. Swimming.

When all the days are hot and long

Compete. The score is equal. Both teams did their best to win the game. Friendship won.

Let’s say good bye to our dear Olympic bear and sing the song.

Do return to your forest again.
