Aims of the lesson:1. To teach pupils to speak about their native town

Aktau;

to teach pupils to answer the questions and make

upsentences as quickly as they can, to introduce

pupils with the English proverbs.

Educational aim:to develop their skills and habits in reading,

speaking,translating, retelling in English;

Cultural objectives:learning foreign language makes pupils

acquainted with the life and culture, whose

language they study through the

materials visual as cards and meetings.

Visual cards:interactive board,cards, picture,tables.

Good morning dear teachers and pupils! Welcome to our educational open lesson. Today we gather with pupils of 9^th class. The theme of our educational lesson is My native town Aktau. Our aim of educational open lesson to develop pupil`s skills in reading8,speaking,understanding,translating and answering the questions in English.

Let`s introduce our teams. We have two teams. They are «Star» and «Friendship». Our educational open lesson is consist of five stages:

The first stage is Introduction.

The second stage isAboutAktau.

The third stage is Answering the questions

The fourth stage is Competition of proverbs.

The fifth stage is Poliglot.

These are the stages of our competition. Let`s introduce with juries. They are: KulbarakMarzhan and KhanaphinaZhulduz, BektaevaAigul.

Dear juries you must give your marks for members of our team after each stages.

Let`s begin our open educational lesson. Now the captain of two teams must introduce the members of each team and the emblem.

II AboutAktau.

The second stage of competition is called AboutAktau.Here you must tell about Aktau, which you know. We invite here the member of each teams Let`s great the team «Friendship». Thank you very much, take your seat please. Well, let`s great the second team «Star».

1. Answering the questions.

The third stage of our competition is answering questions. Now pupils look at the cloud. Behind the raindrop has questions about Aktau. And you must take one of the question.I invite the member of a team Star. Thank you very much, take your seat, please. The next team is Friendship, please go to the blackboard and choose your raindrop. All right, sit down please.

1. Do you like to live in Aktau? Why?

2. How many districts are there in Aktau, which people live?

3. What kind of sightseeings ofAktau do you know?

4. How old is our town?

5. Who is the akim of the Mangistau region?

The next stage is «Competition of proverbs». Here I`ll tell you the beginning of the proverbs and you should continue the proverbs. If you understand me, let`s begin this stage. Now , the first proverb for you team «Star».

(Ештен кеш жақсы).

1. Everything is good in it`s season.

(Уақытында бәрі жақсы).

1. So many countries, so many customs.

(Әр елддің өз салты бар).

1. Poliglot.

The last stage of our competition is «Poliglot». Her I`ll tell you different riddles in Kazakh. Then you must solve the riddles and translate them into two languages,into Russian and into English. The first riddle for you Star.

Жаумаса оны бұрышқа тығады. ( Қолшатыр – зонтик - umbrella )

7. Тоңғақты таниды,

Беті – қолын қариды. (Аяз – мороз - frost)

8 Қар сияқты аппақ,

Өзі сондай тәтті - ақ ( Секер – сахар - sugar)
