Методическая разработка открытого урока английского языка

Цель урока: систематизация лексики по теме «Хобби».

Задачи урока:

  1. Повторение лексических единиц по теме.
  2. Чтение текстов по теме с последующим обсуждением.
  3. Составление мини – диалогов по образцу.
  4. Выполнение грамматических упражнений по теме с использованием настоящего обыкновенного времени.

Оборудование урока: интерактивная доска, презентация Power Point по теме «Хобби», раздаточный материал (тексты «Хобби», карточки с новой лексикой – см. приложение).

Ход урока.

  1. Организационный момент. 5 min.

-  Good afternoon boys and girls! I am  glad to see you. Sit down, please. We start out lesson.

- What date is it today? – Today it is the twentieth of April.

- What is the weather like today? – it is cold, it is not rainy, it is not snowy, it is cloudy, it is not sunny.

Методическая разработка открытого урока английского языка

Ход урока.

  1. Организационный момент. 5 min.

- Good afternoon boys and girls! I am glad to see you. Sit down , please. We start out lesson.

- What date is it today? – Today it is the twentieth of April.

- What is the weather like today? – it is cold, it is not rainy, it is not snowy, it is cloudy, it is not sunny.

- Ok! Thank you. Look at the smart-board, please. There are some pictures on it. What activities can you see here? Use ing – form, please. (what is it? – it is reading,...)

- Today we speak about the things that people like to do, about different hobbies that people enjoy in their free time.

  1. Основная часть урока

1) Reading - 1 (5 min.)

- The 1. task for you. There is a text. You must look this text through and answer my questions.

Hello. My name is Karina. I’m 13 years old. Every morning I go to school and when I return around 2 p.m. I do my homework for tomorrow and then I’m free to do what I like. I like doing different activities. For example, I like playing chess, I enjoy attending the swimming-pool, I like cooking, I like reading books. However, I should say, I have three serious hobbies. The first hobby is the ping-pong. I’ m a very good player of table tennis and I have already won several prizes for this game in the region. My second hobby is painting. When my mum noticed my interest she took me to the city Art School which I then started attending. It’s been six years already since I first went there, and now I’m really good at picturing objects. And my third hobby is collecting bright and interesting magazines for girls. My parents always buy them for me or order by mail, and my friends who know about my passion to magazines, also bring me some editions. I have already 75 (seventy-five) samples of these magazines and when I have some free time I gladly read them.

2) Reading - 2 (5 min.)

And now the 2. task. You must read short texts and guess what hobby is it? Work in pairs, please.

  • Such people like to visit different cities, towns and historical places. Some people even visit other countries. They can travel by car, by plane, by train, by bus or on foot. This hobby helps them to learn history, geography and traditions of different people and countries. (Travelling)



  • People like to go to the library. Some of them have a good collection of books at home. And they are really proud of it. They can have different books: fiction, historical novels, books about animals and birds, books about different countries. Their hobby helps them to relax, to learn the world and understand people better. (Reading)

- What is the library. It is a place. There are many books, people go there and read these books.

  • This hobby is interesting and useful. People try to find or buy different things such as stamps, badges, coins, pictures and dolls. Their collection can be thematic. This hobby helps people to make new friends and to learn some new things about countries and lands, animals and birds, famous people and historical events. (Collecting)

  • This hobby is popular with the people of all ages. People like to go to the stadium or to the sports ground. They are strong and healthy. Their hobby helps to develop their mind and body and teaches them to plan their time. (Sports)

  • People like to make new dishes. They often cook for the family and for their friends. They can present the food nicely and lay the table beautifully. They use spices (oil, pepper, etc.) They can boil or fry meat, fish, chicken and make deserts. ( Cooking)

- Well done. Thank you very much.



3) Составление мини - диалога по образцу. правило I like to read\I like reading (на доске), use to – form or ing – form. (10 min.)

- Ask your classmates about their hobbies.

  • What is your hobby? What do you like? What don’t you like?

  • I like…… (I don’t like…..)

  • Why do you like it?

Use these sentences, please.

4) Физкультминутка

  • I think , you are tired and let`s have a rest. Please stand up.

  • Stand up! Hands to the sides!

  • Bend left! Bend right!

  • Hands down! Sit down! (2 раза)
