Presentation of the new words

from audio then they repeat it. After repeating every pupil reads these words:

  • Willow [ˈwɪləʊ] ива

  • Honeysuckle [ˈhʌnɪsʌk(ə)l] жимолость

  • Vertebrates [ˈvɜːtɪbrɪt] позвоночное животное

  • Imperial eagle [ɪmˈpɪərɪəl iːgl] императорский орел

The theme of my lesson is “Learning about fauna of Kazakhatan”. Before beginning the new theme the children get acquainted with the aims of the lesson. They are:

6.4.4.1- read independently a limited range of short simple fiction and non-fiction texts;

6.5.2.1- write with some support about real and imaginary past events, activities and experiences on a limited range of familiar general topics and some curricular topics;

6.5.8.1- spell most high-frequency vocabulary accurately for a limited range of familiar general topics and some curricular topics.


After this we will read a poem about nature. Then I will show new words on the presentation. Children will listen how to pronounce the words and every pupil will read the new words. The next task is listening to the text “Altyn Emel National Park” and children will read this text. After reading the text children will do ex 2. They must answer the questions by using the text. Then they will do ex 4- they must write missing numbers. And the last task is to write about other national park in Kazakhstan. After this the lesson will be finished.
