The theme: Last weekend

Aims: Pupils will be able to:

Educational: the formation of skills in monologue and dialogue. To enrich students’ vocabulary on the given theme

Developing: to develop their creative abilities.

Bringing up: to teach them to express in any situation, to give their own opinions.

The form of the lesson: interactive lesson.

The type of the lesson: consolidation.

Methods: question-answer, pair-work

The visual aids: a computer, slides, schemes, a diagram.

The theme: Last weekend

Aims:

Educational: the formation of skills in monologue and dialogue. To enrich students’ vocabulary on the given theme

The type of the lesson: consolidation.

Methods: question-answer, pair-work

Procedure of the lesson.

I.Org.moment.

a) Greeting with pupils

b) Checking up absentees.

II. Phonetic drill

Betty bottle bought a bit of butter.

But she bought a bit of bitter butter.

Then she bought some better butter.

But where’s the bit of butter Betty bottle bought?

III. Brainstorming

1) What did you do yesterday?

2) Who did you play with?

3) What did they do yesterday?

I asked question in the Past Simple to the class about what they did yesterday and about their holiday

IV. Realization of meaning Ass-n work

Weekend

To play with friends to do home work

? ?

V. Reading

Students started with pre- reading task.

And find the verbs in the Past Simple.

VI. Writing Student’s read the dialogue again and complete the chart about your classmates as Olga did.

VII. Speaking Ask all the students to stand up and interview as many students as possible . They can use words bin Ex6 help them with their translation. Explain that some words are used with the verb to go

VIII. Writing Students write about one of the classmate’s holiday. Ask 3-3 students to give information about their classmates holiday.

Reflection Tell the class about your partner

His mother was born….

He started school…..

Erzhan was born…..

Conclusion. Giving marks. Giving home tasks. Ex 8,10in written form.

Assessment and summing up. The high time for the bell. The lesson is over.
