Summers can be hot and dry on the prairies, humid in central Canada, and milder on the coasts. Spring is generally pleasant across the country. Autumns are often crisp and cool, but brightened by rich orange and red leaves on trees.
Winters are generally cold with periods of snow, although southern Alberta enjoys the occasional "Chinook", a warm dry wind from the Rocky Mountains that gusts through and melts the snow. Winters are mild and wet on the west coast, in cities such as Vancouver and Victoria.
The Canadian winters are cold and long, and in the northern reaches of the country they can be brutal. In the central interior and prairie provinces, the daily average temps (in winter) are near 5°F, with daily lows near - 20°F; significantly lower on occasion.
In these regions, snow can cover the ground almost six months of the year, while in the far - north, nine months of snow cover (or more) is the norm.

 Мақсаты : To introduce pupils with the Constitution’s  general provisions, to teach how to use  grammar structure “Shall” as an auxiliary verb and a as a modal verb. To develop  all four skills of the lesson : speaking, reading, listening and writing.

I. Ұйымдастыру

– Glad to see you! I see you’re in a good mood today. Great! It means everything is OK in your families and in our Republic. What’s great that we, the people of Kazakhstan live in friendly country!.  I’m sure that everybody of you think like me.  (Ответы обучающихся)

– Now I suggest you a watch a video-lesson about of Kazakhstan. Please, try to find out what are we going to discuss at the lesson.

    We, the people of Kazakhstan, united by a common historic fate, creating a state on the indigenous Kazakh land, considering ourselves a peace-loving and civil society, dedicated to the ideals of freedom, equality and concord, wishing to take a worthy place in the world community, realizing our high responsibility before the present and future generations, proceeding from our sovereign right, accept this Constitution

-As you see, we have just know this new words and can use them in translation of Constitution’s  general provisions (etc. articles). How, I will give out to each of my pupil the text with article and you have to translate it as quick as possible. Do you understand to me ?

                                              The Constitution’s  general provisions

Article1

1.The Republic of Kazakhstan proclaims itself a democratic, secular, legal and social state whose highest values are an individual, his life, rights and freedoms.

2.The fundamental principles of the activity of the Republic are public concord and political stability; economic development for the benefit of the nation.

Article2

1.The Republic of Kazakhstan is a with a presidential form of government.

2.sovereignty of the Republic extends to its entire territory.

3.The administrative and territorial division of the Republic of Kazakhstan, location and states of its capital are determined by law.

4.The names “The Republic of Kazakhstan” and “Kazakhstan” have the same meaning.

Article 3

1.The people shall be the only source of the state power.

2. The state power in the Republic of Kazakhstan is unified and executed on the basic of the Constitution and laws in accordance with the principle of its division into the legislative, executive and judicial branches and a system of checks and balances that governs their interaction.

Article 9

The Republic of Kazakhstan shall have its state symbol-the flag, emblem and anthem. Their description and order of official use shall be established by the  Constitutional Law.

Well, I would like to explain you how to use modal verb “Shall” in making of sentence.

REMEMBER

Shall употребляется со 2-м и 3-м  лицом ед. и мн. числа в договорах, контрактах и других документах в модальном значении, придавая действию в будущем времени оттенок долженствования и переводится как «должен» с инфинитивом.

Now, you should read and do ex.6. while reading the documents pay attention to the meaning of the modal verb“Shall” as an auxiliary verb and as a modal verb.

Ведущий. 16 декабря1991 года была образована независимая Республика Казахстан. В этот день Верховный Совет принял Закон «О независимости Республики Казахстан». В этом году празднование Дня Независимости совпало со знаменательным событием в жизни страны – выборами Президента. Прошли они в условиях подъёма политической активности общества. Граждане Казахстана имели возможность выбрать наиболее достойного из пяти кандидатов. Предвыборная кампания и выборы показали всему миру, что Казахстан уверенно идёт по демократическому пути. Наш народ высоко оценил успехи нашей страны, достигнутые совместными усилиями за годы независимости. Актом практически единодушного признания заслуг действующего президента, Н.А, Назарбаева, стало его избрание главой государства на третий срок.

Чтец 2-ой. Назарбаев Нурсултан Абишевич родился 6 июля 1940 года в селе Чемолган Каскеленского района Алма-атинской области. В 1960 году окончил Днепродзержинское техническое училище В 1967 году получил квалификацию инженера-металлурга, закончив Высшее техническое учебное заведение при Карагандинском металлургическом комбинате.

Чтец 3-ий. Наш Президент – единственный гражданин Казахстана, которого знает весь мир. А всего нашей стране проживает около 17 млн. человек! По численности населения мы занимаем 50-ое место в мире. Это достаточно солидное положение в мировом содружестве государств.

Чтец 4-ый. На суше протяжённость границ Казахстана составляет 15 тысяч километров. Граничит с Россией, Китаем, Узбекистаном, Киргизией. Протяжённость водных границ ( по Каспийскому морю) равна 1, 5 тысячам километров.

Чтец 5 –ый. Среди 2000 наций и народностей мира казахи по общей численности занимают 70-е место, насчитывая более 11 миллионов человек
Кроме того, в Казахстане проживают представители почти 100 национальностей.

Чтец 2-ой. Как каждое независимое государство , наша страна имеет свои символы независимости. 30 августа 1995 года была принята Конституция РК, в которой говорится: «Мы, народ Казахстана, объединённый общей исторической судьбой, созидая государственность на исконной казахской земле, сознавая себя миролюбивым гражданским обществом, приверженным идеалам свободы, равенства и согласия, желая занять достойное место в мировом содружестве, сознавая высокую ответственность перед нынешнем и будущим поколениями, исходя из своего суверенного права, принимаем настоящую Конституцию».

Чтец 3-ий. В статье 9-ой провозглашается: «Республика Казахстан имеет государственные символы – Флаг, Герб и Гимн. Их описание и порядок официального использования устанавливаются конституционным законом».

Чтец 4-ый. В новой государственной символике сочетаются высшие человеческие ценности. Сине-голубой цвет флага – это идея единения
И напоминание о безоблачном мирном небе, олицетворение спокойствия и благополучия. Синий цвет и его оттенки соответствуют честности, верности, надёжности. Золотое солнце, купающееся в своих лучах – покой и богатство, а степной орёл – Щедрость и зоркость, высота помыслов казахстанцев.

Чтец 5 –ый. Современный Казахстан – стремительно развивающееся государство. Наша промышленность, наука являются конкурентоспособными на фоне других стран. Но наши успехи появились не на пустом месте. Они базируются на долгом и нелёгком историческом пути, пройденном казахским народом. Предлагаю проследить этот путь и ответить на вопросы исторической викторины.

Чтец 1-ый. На этом заканчивается наш классный час, посвящённый Дню Независимости Казахстана. Невозможно в пределах одного академического часа охватить панораму прошлого, настоящего и будущего Казахстана. У нас ещё будет возможность неоднократно прикоснуться к живым истокам родной земли.
