Тема : What do you know about the capital of  your country  ?

Ход урока :

1.Организационный момент. Сообщение темы и целей урока.

- Good morning, dear friends! I’m glad to see you! How are you ?

- Who is on duty today?

-What date  is it today?

-Today we will speak about our country and its sights.

. 2.Фонетическая разминка.

How do you understand the proverb:

East or West ,home is best.

3.Введение новой лексики.

And now pupils look at the blackboard. Read the words one by one, please.

4.Развитие умения аудировать. Проверка понимания услышанного прочитанного текста.

Listen to the information and answer the question: What places did Ron and Fanny like in London ?( exercise 1.1), page 162)

(Ron liked St Paul’s Cathedral and Fanny liked The East London mosque).

5.Актуализация навыков чтения. Проверка понимания содержания прочитанного текста.

What did you learn about London? Decide if the following sentences are true, false or not stated according to the story.

1)The Romans founded London two years ago.

2) The Romans began London as a fortress.

3) Later London became a town.

4)Very good masters restored the city again and again.

5)The magnificent building of Westminster Abbey houses rare paintings  and unique books.

6)Christopher Wren designed Westminster Abbey.

7)St Paul’s Cathedral is  a big church.

8)There are a lot of masterpieces in the National Gallery and in the British Museum.

9)The Great Fire of London is commemorated in the Monument.

6. Физкультминутка.

Bend your left,

Turn yourself around.

Hands at the sides and sit down!

Read the rule on page 189-190.

-What articles are used with the nouns that mean professions and buildings ?

(учащиеся заполняют пропуски в тексте словами из таблицы).

And now, pupils, answer the questions!

-Which sight in Moscow do you like best? Why?

-I like St Basil’s Cathedral , because it is magnificent and beautiful. It is the most important church in Moscow. It is very big.

Урок 1.

Класс : 7

Тема : What do you know about the capital of your country ?

Цели : Формирование лексических навыков говорения (совершенствование произносительных навыков, совершенствование грамматических навыков, развитие умения читать и аудировать с целью понимания основного содержания и с целью полного понимания прочитанного и услышанного, умения интерпретировать иллюстрации, умения представлять информацию в форме, отличной от ее первоначального вида).

Лексический материал :ancient,as, as, a building, a master, a cathedral, a century, a church, to design, a fortress, to found, a gallery, to house, later, magnificent, a masterpiece, a monument, a mosque, a painting, rare, to restore, unique.

Грамматический материал : артикли с именами собственными.

Оборудование : магнитофон , карточки с глаголами .



Ход урока :
