Коммуникативная ситуация урока: обсуждение кулинарных рецептов

Тип урока: урок – обобщение изученного материала

Цель (прогнозируемый результат): предполагается, что к окончанию урока учащиеся смогут составить монологическое высказывание - рассуждение о рецептах любимых блюд (не менее 8 фраз).

Задачи:

- научить школьников пользоваться английским языком во всех видах речевой деятельности в рамках предложенной коммуникативной ситуации урока;

- способствовать формированию умения извлекать необходимую информацию из предложенного текста;

- способствовать развитию основных способов мыслительной деятельности;

- создать условия для личностного развития и активного взаимодействия учащихся;

- содействовать воспитанию уважительного отношения к культуре других стран;

- способствовать воспитанию любознательности, интереса к изучению других стран, осмысленности действий, воспитанию культуры речевого поведения.

Методы: коммуникативный, интерактивный

Оборудование урока: Английский язык : учеб. пособие для 8-го кл. учреждений общ. сред. образования с рус. яз. обучения: (с электрон. прил.) / Л. М. Лапицкая [и др.]. – 2-е изд., испр. и доп. – Минск : Вышэйшая школа, 2016. – 270 с. : ил. + 1 электрон. опт. диск (CD), презентация с использованием программы Power Point, ноутбук, картинки по теме «Еда», раздаточный материал.

Ход урока

I Организационно-мотивационный этап

- Over the last 2 weeks we’ve been speaking about national dishes from Belarus and other countries. How many new dishes have you learned about? What recipes do you know? What dishes have you learnt to cook? Students answer teacher’s questions.

- Look at the screen. Name as many dishes as you know. Students look at the screen and name the dishes. (Презентация “Food”).

- You’ve got sheets of paper with the text. Look at the list of figures in the metric system. after the text. Let’s read them. Students repeat the figures in the metric system after the teacher.

- Now look at help box before the text. Let’s read the words. Students read the words from the help box.

- And now let’s check how attentive you are. I’ll read you some facts from the text. You tell me what do they mean. Students listen to the teacher and do the task.

- What is the aim of our lesson? Ss: We are going to make our cookery book.

II Основной этап урока

Student’s book ex. 1, p. 84

- Read the recipes and discuss with your partner which one you find more helpful and why. The pupils read and discuss the recipes.

- Now you know that it’s much easier to cook if the recipe is helpful. And you can even make your own cookery book. That’s what we are going to do today. First, come to my table and choose any picture you like. Divide into groups of three according to your pictures. Students divide into groups.

- Let’s read the instructions for our project. Students read the instructions.

- On my table you see some recipes in Russian with pictures. You can choose some recipes and translate them into English. You can also use pictures. If you want, use your own recipes. And each group have Kitchen vocabulary to help you with unknown words.

Look at the example how you can make your cookery book. To decorate your books you can take any pictures from my table.

If you have questions you can ask me. Students choose the recipes and start working on the projects.

- Are you ready to speak about one of your favourite dish? Some pupils speak about any recipe in their cookery book.

III Оценочно-рефлексивный этап

- Let’s measure your mood according to the “tasty meter” “yummy - yuck”. Pupils stick pictures on the screen.

The teacher comments on the pupils’ results and estimates their work at the lesson.

Students reflect on and evaluate learning and performance, and set goals for progress.

- In the next lesson you will present your cookery book. Pupils who are absent today will decide which book is the best.
