«Health Problems»

The  aims of the lesson:

1) To revise students’ lexical and grammatical knowledge.



 


2) To  develop pupils speaking, reading and writing skills.

3) To enrich students’ vocabulary.

4) To bring up to be friendly, be polite, to respect each other.

The methods of the lesson: group and individual.

The equipment: - an active board, cards,placard.

The procedure of the lesson.

I. Organization moment.

a) Greeting.

b) Marking.

c)Warming –Up.

Good day, everyone!

-How are you?

-Who is on duty today?

-Who is absent?

-What was the home task?

 -Have you done in?

Let’s begin our lesson! 

Students, today’s  ourlesson is unusual.

Now, at first I ask you simple question «How are you today?»

II.Let’s check up your home task.

It was to make up questions with the adverbs of frequency.

1)I usually get up at 7o’clock.

2) I don’t often go to the cinema.

3) She never eats bananas.

4) We always watch TV in the evening.

5) I sometimes go swimming.

I’ll distribute you the stickers, they help you to be lucky.

Dear students, before beginning our lesson I divide you into 3 groups. But how? I’ll distribute you photos of:

 a) parts of the body;

b) jobs;

c) food.

III. Introducing the new theme.

Today we’ll continue step 3. “Health problems”. Each group write the names of the things which  concern their theme.(3min)

7 th grade

IV.      Group work.

Ex.2p.107. Complete the diagram.

Ex.4p.107.Tick the correct variant.

Individual work.

а)Protein gives you energyGOODBAD

and helps you to grow.               ____________

b)Fat is also gives you energy,

but animal fat is in meat, eggs and ___________

cheese has got cholesterol in it.

c)A lot of sugar can make you fat.___________

d)Vitamins help you grow _____________

and to stay healthy.

Ex.12p.110. Put the adverbs in brackets into the correct place in the sentence.

Overweight teenagers eat the wrong kind of food.(Usually)

1.They are depressed about their weight.( Often)

2.They eat fresh fruit and vegetables.( Seldom)

3.Helen eat fruit when she was younger.(Never)

4.She bought chocolate at break time.( Always)

5. Do you eat the wrong kind of food?

(Sometimes)

Conclusion.

At the end of the lesson I want to say that,

«Health is above the wealth». And there is a game «Find the title».
