The aims of the lesson:

- to enrich pupil’s knowledge on the theme;

- To enrich their outlook;

- To develop pupil’s skill in oral speech;

- Listening and reading, to develop pupil’s interest in learning English.

І. Organization moment.

А) – Good morning,  children!

- Good morning, good morning!

- Good morning to you!

- Good morning, teacher!

- I am glad to see you!

- How are you boys and girls?

( Fine, thanks. And you?)

            - Who is on duty today?

            - What date is it today?

            - What day is it today?

            - What season is it now?

            - What is the weather like today?

            - Who is absent today?

            - What was your hometask?

Lets  start  our  lesson.  Today  we  shall  have a  final  lesson  according to  our  topic «Health ».

Warm up:

  • Stand up!
  • Hands up!
  • Hands down!
  • Sit down!

II. Look  at  the  blackboard and repеat the proverbs after me. 

Then give their Kazakh equivalents. Learn them by heart.

« Health is above wealth».

«Early to bed and early to rise make people healthy,  wealthy and wise ».

ІIІ.  Work with pictures. There are some pictures  with  illnesses and  symptoms pupils should  say what happened. 

ІV.   Find medical words in the word search grid.

Work with cards. Let’s  make a “health code”

You……….sleep 8 hours a bay.

You……….take some aspirin when you are ili.

You……….do morning exercises.

You……….walk too much in cold weather.

You……….drink cold water.

You……….airthe  room.

You……….eat a lot of sweets.

You……….watch TV too much.

VI. Puzzle time

1. A place where we get medical help.(Hospital.  School.  garden)

2. Small round things that we take to recover.(pill, ball, net)

3. A person who gives us medical help.(doctor, teacher, pupil)

4. A sheet of paper with the help of which we take medicine at the chemist*s.(prescription, letter, essay).

5. A car that take a patient to the hospital.(ambulance, taxi, bus).

6. A part of a doby that helps us to see the world.(an eye, ears, nose).

VI. Read the text “ Health farm ”.
