The aims of the lesson:

1. Educational: Presentation of the lesson about “Passive Voice

2. Developing: To develop the pupils habits of the oral speech, to develop    pupils creative and , grammar and lexical skills

3. Bringing-up: to bring up love and interest to the subject, to respect each   other, to create an English atmosphere in the classroom.

The types of the lesson: New Lesson

The equipment of the lesson: diagrams on the tasks, posters, computers, interactive board.

I.Organization moment:

T: Good afternoon,children!

P: Good afternoon, teacher!

T: I’m glad to see you!

P: We are glad to see you too!

T: What day is it today? What date is it today?

P: Today is the …

T: Who is on duty today? Who is absent today?

II.Phonetic drill:

T: Let’s read some sentences. You should repeat after me and then, answer the last questions

Dan was born in Edingburgh

Sally was born in Birmingham

Her mother was born in Ireland

III.Checking home task:

T: What was your home task?

IV. The  Presentation of the new theme

New lesson: “Passive Voice”.

T: We form the Passive Voice with

auxiliary verb To Be + Participle II

Present  Simple        am/is/are    (not)  + Past Participle  II.

Past Simple              was/were   (not)  +  Past  Participle II.

Present Indefinite   -  The letter is written

Past Indefinite        - The letter was written

Future Indefinite     - The letter will be written

  1. Let’s do some exercises according to our new theme. I’ll give you some cards with task. Write sentences from the words in brackets
  2. Complete the sentences. Use the passive of these verbs

On the blackboard you can see the words and you should choose suitable words.

      3.  Read the information and write sentences in Past Simple Passive (Ex.3 p.9)

V.: Conclusions and Let’s check your understanding. In order to do it we will do exercise. You will take the cards, you should translate it.

VI.: Home task  Ex.4  p.9

VII. Marks
