I Организационный момент.

-Good morning, I’m very glad to see you. Take your seats, please.

-First of all, I would like to congratulate you on the beginning of our English language week. This year it’s called “Christmas miracles”. During this week we will have many different interesting events in which you can take part.

-Today also we are having an unusual lesson. I would like to play with you board game, blackboard game, in our case. The theme of our game is “Christmas is coming”. All tasks will be connected with it.

II Основная часть урока (проведение игры)

-Please, look at the blackboard. You can see some pictures and cards with the tasks. If you have a picture, you say what it is. This way, you team has only 1 point. If you have a question, you answer the question and get 2 points. And if you have a special card, you should do the task but you get 3 points.

-We have a dice which can help to choose the task. And we are going to play in 2 teams. Please give me the name of your teams. We are … . Our team is called “…”. The captain of our team is …

-Now, I think, we are completely ready to play. Ok. I hope you will spend time with pleasure. Please, be active, social and friendly with each other. And I wish you good luck! Let’s start.

KABOOM (you should take 1 card with Christmas word and translate it. If you are right, you have card. If you have KABOOM, you give me all your cards)

MEMORY GAME (you should turn over the cards one by one and take the same)

CORRECT MISTAKES (you should read the sentences and correct mistakes)

DOMINO (you should collect the chain of words faster than your opponent)

KARAOKE (you should sing a karaoke song)

THE ODD ONE OUT (you should find the odd one out word in each line)

TONGUE TWISTERS (you should read a tongue twister fast and correct)

GUESS THE SONG (you should guess the songs with the help of emoji)

CROCODILE (you should show the word keeping silence and your team should guess what it is)
