Greeting

T: Good morning, children! I am glad to see you. How are you, children?

-What is the date today? What day of the week is today? Who is absent from a lesson? Why is he (she) absent? What’s the weather like today? What’s temperature today? Are you ready for a lesson

II. Phonetic drill.

So, at the lesson today we’ll speak about your families. First listen to the tape recorder and repeat.

1. T: I think everybody is happy if he has a friendly family, a native home, if he has relatives. This year is the year of family in our country.

2. T: Where would you rather live? P: I whould rather live in the country

III. Speaking.

1. - Have you got a family? Is your family big or small? How many people are in your family? Have you got grandparents? uncles? aunts? How many brother have you got? What is your father? How old is your mother? What’s your brother’s hobby? What is your father like? и.т.д.

2. And now, talk to none another about your families. Works in pairs.

1. T: Do you know your family tree? I think everybody must know his family tree. Who is ready? Please, tell us your family tree.

Sing a song: “If you are happy ...”

What poems about a family do you know? Let’s recite them.

IV. Reading.

Read the text about family festival.

What festival is it?

When and where is it celebrated?

How they celebrate this festival?

Have you ever heard about this festival?

Speak about the festival which celebrated in your family.
